The car had an expired license and inspection sticker. Carpet was torn and low pressure tire warning light was on. The counter representative said they had a lot of cars there and it's too much to check every car!!

Easy pick up and drop off. Surprised the vehicle did not have a car wash before we got it, but not a big deal. Also not sure it had even been gone through because there was some small garbage on the floor in back seat area. First time in mini van and was surprised how nice the ride was.
they didnt let me pick up the car. because of im under 25 and i charged insurance

The lobby where the Thrifty desk is located is crazy loud. I could barely hear the representative when I called the location directly. It completely put me off, but I stuck with it. I had no problem with the car or staff. The walk to the lot for picking up the car is a bit of a pain but I'm not sure how they could work around that since the office is right at the dock. Overall a good experience.
We had to wait to get our car, but it was because we arrived early. The agent was generally fine and took care of our needs. The car was comfortable and served our needs. Drop off was easy at the airport.
Had trouble with Kayak/Hertz when making the one-way reservation. Info kept gettting lost. Even got a message that either Kayk or Hertz was having problems. After the fith time, I did not realize the dropoff changed to pickup location causing my $90 rental to turn into a $500 rental. Each time I changed it back to a one-way rental except hte last time. Yes, I missed it but the rate I wanted was available the next day and the next day. I shoud have cancelled and rebooked when I picked it up but was so shocked. Hertz gave me $150 credit. Not sure if it was a Kayak problem or Hertz system problem but I got abused.
I hate it I rent a car and buy a renter insurance however on my way to pick the car up they call and said no car available the took the renter insurance money same way without me getting the car .. bullshit

We had a wonderful experience! We ended up getting in 90 minutes earlier than anticipated and they worked with us to ensure it didn't cost us an extra day or part of a day. They sent someone to pick up our family of 4 and our luggage at the ferry in Hyannis. She even had us keep the luggage in her vehicle until our car was ready so that we weren't lugging it around everywhere. They were efficient; we were set up and on our way quickly. Our vehicle even ended up being a bit of an upgrade, because that's what was on site. We are grateful for Kelly, Donna, and Kevin who were so helpful and kind in our interactions! Then, drop off was so easy. We pulled into the lot at Logan and we were on our way within 2 minutes. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
In one word, my experience with Dollar & Kayak was HORRENDOUS. I booked the Dollar car via Kayak at 3pm on July 7th, and really looked forward to picking it up July 8th. Then, someone from Dollar called me at 8pm and said they were all out of vehicles because "they got raided by people at the airport because all flights were canceled" and I would no longer have a car to rent the next morning. BUMMER and a horrible customer service experience. I question the purpose of a reservation if someone else can just snatch it from me? Kayak and Dollar need to have better communication so that future shoppers are not left stranded the way I was with my family.

They refused to give me a car unless I had a $750 deposit. They refused to refund the rental price. I will never use Kayak or dollar Rent a car ever again. I am putting a complaint in with State Attorney General's office. I hope they shut you down .
