It was clean and within driving range where we were going
Close to the college. Breakfast was okay.
Room smelled like perfume to cover up cigarette smoke Hallways smelled like cigar smoke Lobby smelled like cigar smoke Smokers loitering outside entrance with their cigar smoke being pulled into the lobby by the wall air conditioner.
The beds were very comfortable.
The desk clerk was hard to find. She was outside smoking and one time making out with some guy outside.
Clean room, extra pillows, amenities you expect, breakfast was great.
The Hotel should freely updated their hotel equipments and their amenities. To leave off they are not working right way as they should. Or eliminate equipments or amenities due to either to many accident or insurance rate high on it, or just plain broken and can not be fix because it cost to much to fix the whirlpool. ( The whirlpool is next to the pool steps to walk down in the swimming pool.) Yes, I understand that not everyones use the whirlpool everyday while they are traveling. Other then that my stayed at the Comfort Inn Delaware was great. Very comfortable bed to sleep in it restfull bed.The staff was great too. I DID NOT asked any question about why the whirlpool was not working or why it cover up either. Yes, I should of ask question about why the whirlpool was not working.
I want to thank everyone at the Delaware Comfort Inn for making our four day stay delightful. The staff is friendly and professional. The room was clean and made up the same each day. The front desk staff was helpful assisting with our arrival down to providing stamps when needed. The breakfast was top notch. The hotel was very busy as a local event is why most of us were there. We were served as if we were the only ones there. Greta job ! Can't wait to stay with you again,
Just great! We stayed for five nights, and the hotel was full for three of those. The bed was comfortable; shower/water pressure great; room was clean; good-size room refrigerator; staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't have an opportunity to try the continental breakfast so can't review that. Pool and jacuzzi were a nice way to end the day. As for location, right next to a shopping center (with a WalMart for those forgotten items). The only downside to our stay - and NOT the motel's fault - was the lack of dining choices within walking distance, but there are a couple places (Bob Evans, Subway, etc.) just down the road.
From the super friendly staff, to the mahogany and updated furnishings, to the oversize luxurious bed the in-room refrigerator and microwave, to the superb cleanliness, this hotel is as nice as any four-star hotel we have stayed in. Infact the room was so luxurious that my husband wanted to stay another night 'just because'! The complimentary breakfast offered great choices and was clean and well stocked as well. I highly reccomend this hotel to anyone and everyone!
Ashley, the receptionist, took fifteen minutes to notice us, she was on her personal cell phone, and playing games on the front desk computer. She was very rude and acted as if i was interrupting her, the ice machine was not working, and I had to interrupt her yet again during a personal phone call and it seemed to me that she was mad. After I had checked into my room, I had decided I would like an extra pillow, and a few extra towels, but when I attempted to ring the front desk, no one had answered so I had to walk down stairs to ask her for them, and once again she was talking on her cellphone, and seemed to be even more annoyed by me. Everyone else in the hotel was very nice to me, in fact on my way upstairs I walked past a housekeeper, I believe her name tag read kate, she asked me if my room was clean and if I needed anything else to make me feel more comfortable. I found that very nice of her, considering the way I had been treated by the young lady sitting at the front desk. Abov...
We had to move rooms due to a lack of cleanliness. In both rooms, the beds were a terrible quality. I classify this as a dump.
