Pros:It was walking distance to Trinity College, Temple Bar and many of the sites in Dublin.
Cons:This place was disgusting! The room was dirty, the bathroom smelled moldy and the carpet was so nasty, we were afraid to walk on it without shoes. Additionally, we almost got stuck in the lift because it was broken, but no one bothered to put up a sign! We were there for 3 days, and it was broken the entire time we stayed there. We never saw any maintenance people even attempting to repair it. This place was not family friendly as indicated!!

Pros:Avalon House is full of amenities and friendly travelers - the perfect place to stay in Dublin. Nice, clean facilities with a delicious free breakfast! Play pool with new friends, eat cheap by cooking in the huge kitchen, go on the free walking tours, use the free tablets, sleep in comfortable beds, and be close to all the wonderful sights Dublin has to offer.
Cons:No complaints here - I've already recommended Avalon House to all my friends!
