We had difficulting finding the drop off location when we wanted to return the car. Once we made it to the return location we were told the directions were located in the love compartment. We wish someone had emphasized this when we were picking up the car.10.0 Wonderful

Nothing. They have a scam by which they let you sit in the car before they force extra insurance charges on you. If you don't accept you can't rent the car.Cons:

Very friendly and personable, and after an hour wait, for service, the care they delivered was great.Cons:
I had verified that I have full collision damage insurance with my credit card and had the policy, but they wouldn't give me a car without a letter or call from the card company. This proved impossible to do on the spot so I had to take the $15 Euro a day for redundant insurance.Avis

Pros:
Staff were very helpful at Avis but the insurance fees were outrageous and tripled the cost of the rental. That being said, I cannot commend them enough for how they handled our return of the car early due to COVID-19Cons:

Extremely rude staff, particularly the woman working at the counter in Terminal 2 and the shuttle bus driver. The outside of the car was dirty, the transmission would easily slip into reverse (no down press, or button to engage). They were going to charge me for a dent in the hood, fortunately my wife had taken a picture of it when we picked up the car.4.0 Mediocre

the second car was very good. they helped us at the airport which was a better location. However, the agent that helped us was less than helpful. it needed to be clearer that if you didn't take their insurance they were going to put 7500 euros on your credit card. he was unwilling to provide options. In comparison we dealt with another company in glascow and they provided good alternatives with reasonable costs. A much better experience.Cons:

Pros:
Mark was the BEST!! We were sold an insurance policy from a 3rd party that ended up being invalid in Ireland...we never would have known without Mark! He brought it to our attention, helped us confirm this fact with the 3rd party, and helped facilitate our refund with them. He then helped us get a a valid policy, and even upgraded our car to help ease our pain of the day ;) Would recommend!Cons:

Pros:
I rarely rent from Sixt since they came up expensive usually, but I had this great offer and it was not listed as Sixt but rather FLIZZR. The car war new and clean, No issues with picking up the car, very helpful customer service as I had experienced in former encounters with Sixt. Also the customer service representative hinted clearly on all and any pre-conditions (scratches, small dents), which I would have never been able to detect, since the rental place at the Cologne airport is rather a dark parking garage. I was even able to get an automatic for a small additional charge ($5 a day).Cons:
The car, an Opel (Vauxhaul or General Motors), was supposed to be an automatic, but felt like a hybrid manual and had a very strange way to shift. Didn't shift smoothly, but I was stagnantly shifting, at least I did not have to shift manually.9.6 Wonderful
