Being asked for ID at checkin (no problem), provided valid Jersey Drivers Lic, then asked for more ID specifically my Passport, because i was a "foreign traveller" which I am not. I have a BRITISH PASSPORT and AM A BRITISH CITIZEN. The woman was unforgiving and pushed the point over and over. As a specific result I cancelled half ie 1 night of my 2 night stay at the Dilly because of the relentless and ridiculous policy push. I am unlikely to stay with you again. In fact I would like to enforce my right to have my DATA removed (deleted) from ALL of your computer systems and databases, as is my right under the European and UK GDPR data laws. You will now need to provide me proof that this has been done ie evidence of complete deletion. If this evidence is not provided I will be contacting your Data Protection Officer to make a formal complaint and also the UK regulator to file a formal complaint about your data breach. Your foolish attitude toward customers will now cost your potentially 10's of thousand of pounds in staffing, computer recourses, legal and compliance to deal with. If not compliant it will cost you potentially hundreds of thousands of pounds per breach found by the regulator. Well done clever people at the Dilly........
