Bad. Budget did not have the standard SUV that I booked. They forced me to choose between a pickup truck and a van. Both are unappealing and I did not book those. When asked why I was being forced to choose between the two, the Budget representative said they did not have any SUVs available. This was not accurate because when I went to the garage to pick up my vehicle, I saw some SUVs.

Rude staff. Suggested I Went with a competitor since and would not allow me to make a new reservation or pick up the car I reserved. I did go with a competitor.

upon returning car, I did not received any print out or invoice via e-mail, suspecting something wrong, I talked to front desk, as suspected I was told that the rent was still open and the car ha not been properly scanned, person that scanned did not check fuel or milage, I was also told that the rent was into another name, it had to be corrected. I had been overcharged previously and the direction to call main line is useless. you need to prvovide a fail safe mechanism to insure returns are properly documented.

Staff called to make sure that I was still arriving late, then stayed until I arrived (probably an hour after he was scheduled to leave).

Pros:

The guy in Melbourne was not customer friendly. Couldn't give me an idea where the car was in the mall parking lot. The parking lot couldn't find the car and finally said he couldn't speak English. I wandered around a mall parking lot for 15 minutes pushing the lock door button to hear a chirp.

Cons:

The car was dirty and dusty. Had paint left off the rear driver window. Was left off from an auction???

Pros:

The car was not ready in Melbourne. I called an hour before I arrived to make sure the car was ready, so our friends did not have to wait for us. Once we got to the car lot we wait an hour for the car to be cleaned. We were on VACATION not watching a car get cleaned lesson.

Cons:

I tried calling multiple locations to exchange my rental for another one because I had a nail in the tire and other problems and no one answered nor anyone called me back, 1 location was the wrong number, please have your locations update their locations and phone numbers. Picking up my rental was not clean and smelled like smoke and dog.

Easy to pick up and drop off with polite personnel.

Cons:

No warnings about the frequent unexpected and unannounced tolls we would encounter. No cruise control. Cheaply made car interior, but for the price it was fine.
