Good location in South Beach
Valet only parking. Took over 1 hour to get car on departure. Parking costs $50. Party goers outside our window kept us awake until 2:30. Front patio entrance smelled like vomit.
I loved the friendly accomodating staff! I requested and received a complimentary upgrade to a suite at the hotel. They put me up in a beautiful spacious junior suite with a luscious green tropical garden patio out front. The property is close to all the places I wanted to go and see. There was shopping very close by. I brought 2 friends who had never stayed there before and they really enjoyed themselves as well. We will definitely stay at the Chesterfield again.
The weather was atrocious! I would definitely have enjoyed myself more had the weather been better. However, the bartender and wait staff catered to my every need during the horrible rainstorms.
Shower drained too slow
Good room, nice location !
Upon arrival a surprising "resort fee" was added to my bill. The $20 might not be mouch but I think it matters. If the hotel cannot handle the competion by advertising the complete daily rate maybe they should do something else!
I liked that it was close to beach as well as restaurants, bars and nightlife. The room was comfortable, clean and poshly decorated! Valet parking was 32$ but I just parked on street and used meter because I didn't check in to late and was leaving in the AM. Front staff desk and bar staff courteous. I liked that Happy Hour was til 8pm!
Stairs were a little difficult to manage with luggage from lobby to first floor but not a deal breaker!
First, they DO NOT have Wi Fi. Their ad states that they do, but they don't. They hotel is more of a flop house than a motel.
No connection with other hotels/resorts.
We like the welcome of the staff and the coziness of the room. Thank you!
Too much traffic!
Great deal for price and location. Staff friendly and responsive
Takes at least 20 to 30 minutes to get your car if you valet it.
Location Staff service Food Commodities
Many noise next to the room you should do something to reduce the noise
Distance from beach Happy hour
Small rooms Slow food service Bedroom lighting dim
I got a huge room for a great price. Only stayed one night so I didn't get to really experience the hotel but it was good for the night.
Love this boutique Hotel... Romantic - Perfect Location .. I have stayed in the Penthouse which is absolutely the most amazing hotel room ever! I have stayed in 2 other rooms at the Chesterfield too. both were very quaint and romantic.
I suggested this to several friends.. one couple had a room much better than ours. ( ours was still cozy and romantic) The other couple who is the bride and groom stayed in room 511 - WHAT A HORRIBLE disgusting room. water on the floor - broken floors your foot can fall in. They stayed for 4 days in such a run down shabby room. They paid $150 a night in a room maybe worth $35 The manager took off $65 of the entire stay. The bathroom was dirty and so so so small. ( nothing like the other hotel rooms) Colors were great but everything else needs to be dumped and started over. Sure left a bad taste for the 8 of us traveling together. Poor poor customer service not to immediately get anyone out of the room.
