Prices are average price per night of stay and may not include taxes and fees. "Total" includes our estimate of the taxes and fees. Please verify the total cost on the provider's site before you complete your reservation. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.

Miami, beaches, beautiful people and endless sunshine

Miami, Florida and the Miami Beach area lie between the Florida Everglades and Biscayne Bay, providing visitors with a warm subtropical climate all year-round. With hot, humid summers and short, warm winters, it’s no wonder the region’s 80 parks and gardens and numerous marinas, rivers and beaches are thriving tourist destinations throughout the year.

Shops galore, Art Deco magnificence and food to die for

Miami has a touch of everything in the things-to-do department. An intermingling of flashy art galleries, celebrity hotels, modernist architecture and beautiful people, the city provides a thrilling atmosphere for visitors. Fans of Art Deco architecture will adore Miami Beach, which boasts the world’s largest collection of buildings in this style, along Ocean Drive. Miami is also praised for its unique New World cuisine, a combination of local produce, Latin American and Caribbean culinary tradition. If your budget allows, you can sample this specialty, or a diverse range of Columbian, Chinese, Japanese and Middle Eastern cuisine at one of Miami’s premiere restaurants. Many restaurants in Miami double as nightclubs, making for a handy start to a night of partying. Nightlife in Miami is comprised of high-end hotels, casual independent bars and nightclubs with a dress code. Before heading out, prepare with a spa treatment, then an aperitif at the Sunset Lounge at the Mondrian Hotel. Hit Miami’s best shopping streets and discover how the locals dress so well. Haute couture, bargain outlets and independent boutiques line Lincoln Road, Española Way, Washington Avenue, Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive. More than one day is needed to cover this outdoor shopping paradise.

Which neighbourhood to book your stay in

There are four main areas to stay in Miami. Downtown Miami is the cultural and financial center of South Florida and boasts a number of significant museums, parks, shops and historical buildings. North Miami is a colourful section which includes the artsy design district, Midtown, as well as the historic MiMo district of modern architecture. West and South Miami contain some of the biggest tourist attractions. Miami Beach, while not technically part of Miami, is popular for beachside resort accommodation options. Booking a hotel within proximity of the sights you wish to visit can be helpful, however, the extensive public transport system means covering the region is simple from most locations.

Travelling to and around Miami

Miami international airport sits just west of the city and accepts flights direct from Europe, North America and Latin America. It pays to allow extra time when arriving or departing as the airport is generally very congested. Alternatively, Fort Lauderdale International Airport is a little further from Miami and has fewer international flights, but is also quieter and faster in terms of security and immigration. Public transport is available from both airports to Miami city. If you’re already in the United States, there are a number of train and bus options to Miami from New York City, Washington D.C., Atlanta and Tampa. Within Miami, the extensive public transport network means it is possible to travel to all major attractions without a car. If you do wish to travel by car, car rental is relatively cheap and roads are generally easy to navigate.
