Barnsdale Lodge Hotel has been in Thomas Noel's family since 1760 and formed part of the adjoining Exton Park, seat of the Earls of Gainsborough.
Formerly a farmhouse, Barnsdale Lodge was converted by Thomas in 1989. The Hotel is positioned on the North shore of Rutland Water in the heart of the beautiful, unspoilt, county of Rutland, just a few minutes from the historic towns of Oakham and Stamford.
Barnsdale Lodge Hotel has forty-four bedrooms, all ensuite and individually furnished with charm and style, All have views of either the surrounding countryside or the picturesque courtyard.
The hotel has double, twin, single and family rooms with broadband connection, direct dial telephone, digital freeview, a selection of teas and coffee and biscuits, hairdryer, iron and trouser press. Guests can enjoy a range of complimentary White Company toiletries in the bathrooms.
A number of bedrooms have been designed to take into consideration those with disabilities. These rooms are all on the ground floor with easy access, walk-in showers and handrails.
