An eco-friendly South American hotel chain has opened a new hotel in Bella Vista, Eco Inn Avila Boutique Hotel is on Avenida Per between Calle 36 and Calle 37 in Panama City. It is close to government offices, hospitals, and a short distance from the financial district. A unique feature of Eco Inn hotels is the use of natural materials and finishes in their construction and combining environmentally friendly elements that save energy and protect the earth. Eco Inn hotels feature natural light in hallways as well as bow windows and balconies. Solar systems are used to heat water. The hotels recycle waste and use 100% cotton linens. Basics like shampoo and soap are made from natural products and menus are based on organically grown local food. The new hotel features 63 fully-renovated rooms, a restaurant and bar, business center, sushi bar, eco-market, whirlpool solarium, three well-equipped conference rooms and underground parking. A gym will soon be added to the amenities. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
