Was asked to pay a lot for basic insurance where it was not clearly stated at order time. Almost felt as a prisoner.

We paid for wv gold, nice amount of money. The car didn’t had Bluetooth and no usb. The 12v was not working so it was not easy and pleasant to travel with the car across the country as we did and planed.

Needed to cancel booking, gave almost a week’s notice was still charged the full rental, will not be using Sixt again!

This trip was cancelled due to COVID-19 and we were not provided a full refund for this. The lack of customer service during this crisis would make it difficult to want to use this company in the future.

My online car rental reservation process was smooth and hassle-free. However, upon arrival at the airport and visiting the Europa booth, we were met with a concerning issue. No staff members were present to assist us, even though we arrived just before their official closing time of 10:30 pm. We patiently waited for their arrival, but when someone finally showed up, there was no acknowledgment of our wait, and no sign of apologetic behavior. To our astonishment, we were informed that we had to pay an additional 35 Euros due to our supposed late arrival. This experience left us deeply dissatisfied with the overall customer service provided by the company. Regrettably, we cannot recommend using their services in the future.
