The location was great. Also loved the food options

Rooms were musty smelling and the staff really wanted to just serve you not interact with you so you can find about the island.

It's a nice place

Vendors were all over the beach and the smell of gas was so overpowering from their ski jets. It was a public beach and throngs of people from the cruise ship would come everyday and dirty the beach and fill up your beach space

Vendors are always in your space selling

Some of the Fruits at the buffet were spoiled.

The rooms were very spacious, cleaned and well maintained. The service in the hotel and in the restaurants was excellent. Turning down the beds in the evening, the bathrobe on the bed, the radio on and the two bottles of water was a nice touch as well.

They nickel and dime you on everything. Many fees are just out of bounds. But, on vacation, ride with it and do what you want to enjoy the time. You are there already so don't let the $ get in the way of a good time.

The grounds were very well maintained, there seemed to be staff members everywhere to help with directions or just to answer questions.

Great place for a family vacation. Lots of choices. great pool and beach

everything was extra. at a 4 1/2 star hotel, they should include things like internet and fitness center for free. prices are well above average and a bit on the high side.

very clean, and I'd definitely go back with the family again.

This is definitely the place to stay if you like being pampered because everyone on the staff definitely went out of their way to meet all our needs. My only problem was the beach, which unfortunately is the main reason you go to the Bahamas. The winds were so strong and the ocean current so strong that they had the red flag up every day we were there and we could not go in the water at all. We did have use of the beautiful pool, but let's face it, you can go to any hotel and use a pool. Anyway, this was very disappointing and would probably prevent me from returning.

The water park

The meals and drinks were very expensive.

Atlantis is very nice, but the cost of everything in conjunction with the hotel fees, (utilities, taxes, etc) makes it a less desirable trip.

Location to Atlantis

The hotel was closing for much needed renovations on the last day of my trip and things were a mess. Place is in a great location but old and they let too many locals come in. They took most of the food at lunch and really made a mess of things. Terrible experienced

Courteous,friendly staff

Room Service Menu is too expensive. Also,on the room service menu, there was NO INDICATION or WARNING that some of the food items were spicy.

The long walkway/sidewalk in the pool area that connected the Atlantis Reef to the Atlantis Cove should have benches so that guests can sit & relax while taking their time walking from one place to the other. I went with 4 senior citizens (2 in their late 70's & 2 in their mid 80's) & their was really no activities for them to do or see. There should be a few live shows for them to attend. Also, when we were in the casino during the day & the we needed to find an attendant to fix the slot machines that were out of order, it was so hard to find an attendant. The hotel itself was very nice but it seems that the whole Paradise Island Experience was designed more for the younger crowd.

Spacious rooms. Having a mini kitchen is great because food is very expensive on property so it is helpful to be able to make breakfast in the room. Gives a bit of space from the craziness of the water park on property but close enough that it is convenient to walk there. Nice, well appointed bathroom. Good sized covered terrace.

The Reef is skimping on the extra touches that a very expensive resort should have. For example, no paper was delivered to the room each morning. Also, you had to get the activities sheet for the day from the front desk where at most high end resorts, it is also put underneath your door each morning. Service was slow when there was a problem, for example, our TV kept freezing and it took two phone calls to get someone to fix it. But the worst problem is the Wi-Fi. They charge over $20 per day to use and it is not dependable. It keeps dropping off your device and you have to reconnect and the signal is weak.

It is in a safe area and close access to everything that you could possibly want to do. The staff is super friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

It was hard to get a hold of the front desk a few times. We would call and the phone would just keep ringing. At one point, we had to go down stairs to request room service. Easy fix but was inconvenient at the time.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. You're close to The Fish Fry, you have your own private beach (no concern about criminals or drug pushers like on public beaches), you are a short walk away from water taxis, the dock for the Booze&Cruise (which is a blast) is right around the corner, and the hotel itself is safe, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel (Aqua) is GREAT for dinner. Their lunch food wasn't too impressive. The concierge is super helpful- had tons of information to give us and was able to help us book everything we wanted to do.

THE BEACH WAS FABULOUS AND THE HOTEL WAS GREAT.

THE HOTEL WAS LOCATED IN A SOMEWHAT OK PART OF TOWN BUT THE DOWNSIDE WAS THAT WHEN THE CRUISE SHIPS CAME IN AND WERE STAYING FOR A LONG TIME THE MUSIC FROM SENOR FROGS AND A PUB ACROSS THE STREET WAS SO LOUD AND DID NOT STOP UNTIL 3 IN THE MORNING.

HOTEL WAS BETTER THAN I THOUGHT AND THE STAFF WERE SO NICE AND FRIENDLY AND MADE SURE THAT WE HAD WHAT WE NEEDED. THE HOTEL DOES NEED A FEW UPDATES BUT WOULD GO BACK TO THE HOTEL AGAIN.

There was some mold on the grout in the shower, there were several areas of damage to the 'rock' around the pools. Music played too loudly at the pool, so that I couldn't use my iPod with ear buds. Room was clean, but didn't like the extra charges: $22/day for internet, $50 for gym access for 7 days. Food was expensive - $100 for one for a meal of pasta fagole, a caprese salad, and squash stuffed ravioli with figs, and a single glass of wine. Staff was friendly and helpful, nightly movies were timely and appreciated.

The hotel had staff at each door requesting to see room keys in order to keep non guests out and I enjoyed the pools and water activities included. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful

the coral towers is an older hotel and is showing signs of wear. the sliding doors to balcony were very hard to open, some of the tile in the bathroom had been replaced with very poor craftmanship and the room needed some drywall repairs.

Overall this hotel has a very well trained staff and they are willing to assist any way possible. The room I had was clean, but could use some craftmanship repairing the sliding doors going to balcony, repairing some bubbles in the drywall, and the grout on repaired bathroom tiles. Overall it was about what I had expected for the price. I am dissapointed in the automatic taxes per person. The hotel charges a tax per person to clean the room daily and 15% gratuity is automatically charged on any food purchase. The automatic grat...

The only thing I liked was the history of the hotel. The best part was leaving!

Reception area was small. Hotel was not family friendly. Bedding and furniture was old and musty. Housekeeping sprayed the bedding down with lysol as soon as we checked into the room without being asked to. As if they knew it wasn't clean.

The hotel was very disappointing. My family was very uncomfortable and didn't feel safe. It was nothing like it was advertised!! I do NOT recommend this place if you want a Bahamian experience!

The spacious villas were good for our family of five. Shuttles were easy, consistent and nice.

It was a ways away from the main attractions and restaurants. It was kind of a pain to go back to Harborside after spending the day at the water park, only to return for dinner. Also, not enough family activities after 5:00 p.m.
