Pros:Lobby was gorgeous and bar in back was awesome but the room facilities are super rundown and there is not enough parking on the sides
Cons:Room buildings need to be updated. They’re peeling and grimy looking and the low hallways with hanging lights just looks creepy

Pros:The pillows and the beds were very comfortable. The closeness to the beach was great. All staff were very friendly. You can tell there is plenty of effort to increase the hotel’s prestige and synergy. But, it’s not there yet.
Cons:There was a used towel hanging up in the bathroom and a used bar of soap in the shower when we first arrived. But, I’ve done mission trips in Nicaragua, so we just ignored it. It seemed like a staff memeber had snuck in to take a shower after the room was cleaned and forgot to clean up after themselves. Again, I’ve showered outside from a bucket before, so it didn’t bother me much. There wasn’t a trash can in the bathroom, which was weird. This is important for women, since we have some unsavory trash usually once a month. The elevators and stairwell smelled awful. The carpets theoughout the whole guest room building need to be cleaned and deoderized, but the carpets in the elevators were the worst. And the last thing, was that the building for the guest rooms and the building for the front desk are two separate buildings not connected with a roof. Our stuff got wet in the rain after we checked in and made our way back to our room.

Pros:The one redeeming factor. On the beach.
Cons:Our stay here lasted about 9 hours. Our room was dull and outdated. The bed linens were damp to the touch and smelled strange. The room had an odor of something between a wet dog and a damp basement. We were on the first floor and it was extremely loud. You could every flip flop, door open and shut, elevator ding, and conversation. The front desk is detached from building and looks like a clothing store so that was a little confusing. The staff were underwhelming with the few interactions we had. I picked this hotel as it was on the beach ( so keep in mind the pictures are misleading only a small amount of rooms are actually beach front) and that was the one positive here. I could walk outside and be at the waters edge in a matter of minutes.

Cons:Dirty room, told woman at check out that first room they placed us in the mattress had a very very strong odor of vomit and somebody should check it out. Her response was " do you want to put the pet deposit on the same card the room was booked on" No appology or sense of caring at all. We complained the night before and did get a new room, the woman on duty was apparently new and in training. She was very professional and responsive to our complaint.
