Very attentive staff. Extremely helpful. Checked on our satisfaction with the room right after we arrived.
Not really. Location was not really the best ,but very satisfactory and convenient to our schedule.
Excellent complimentary breakfast
The pool area has no shade
We booked a last-minute room at this Hampton Inn at the tail end of a week-long trip to New England. While the hotel is currently non-smoking, the former smoking rooms (the only ones without no smoking signs on the doors) still reek of tobacco. When we complained after checking in, we were given another former smoking room--not as bad, but still a problem since we have asthma and allergies in our family. The worst was being lied to by staff and told it has ALWAYS been a non-smoking hotel. Give me a break. The non-smoking signs on the rooms that were non-smoking indicate smoking was allowed elsewhere at one time.
Stayed here for two nights while visiting daughter at Brown University (6 minutes away). Very clean rooms and common areas, great breakfast, good price for area. A little street noise but nothing serious. Beds are new and super comfortable. Will make this my home in the Providence area.
