On Georgia holidays visitors often flock to the state's scenic Atlantic coastline, scenic Blue Ridge Mountains and cities such as Atlanta, the state capital, and Augusta, which features a variety of world famous golf courses.
Georgia has a few airports in its primary cities. Visitors can land in Atlanta at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, or smaller airports like Albany and Brunswick. The best time to visit is in early summer or the fall months of September of October.
There are several popular beaches to visit on Georgia holidays along the coast. Among the more scenic beaches in Georgia is Sea Island, which belongs to the four Golden Isles of Georgia. Augusta is one of Georgia's most famous cities for golf. Some of the best golfers are represented at the Masters, which is held at the Augusta National, but it is not open to visitors. However, Augusta still offers some world-class golf courses, such as the Forest Hills Golf Club. The Augusta Museum of History also includes a few golf-themed exhibits, one of which displays an official Masters' green jacket. Atlanta, the capital of Georgia, boasts interesting museums such as the World of Coca-Cola, High Museum of Art and Atalanta History Center.
