EuroPride Valletta

Celebrating diversity and equality for all.

7-17 September, 2023

This year’s EuroPride is taking place on the otherwordly and extremely welcoming island of Malta!

Malta’s unique geographic location places it smack dab where Europe and North Africa meet, with the Middle East not far away. This is part of the reason why Malta prioritises equality and LGBTQ+ human rights. At EuroPride Valletta, you’ll experience people from around the world coming together to celebrate love, without fear.

Must do’s when in Malta.

Visit Mdina

Hire a car and drive to the middle of the island to immerse yourself in the country’s historical old capital. The ancient fortifications are filled with houses dating back many centuries.

Tour Mosta Dome

Mosta Dome is an iconic church dedicated to St. Mary. Its dome is similar to that of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, only bigger. The rest is modelled on Rome’s Pantheon.

Go scuba diving

The island of Malta and its neighbour islands feature diving for all skill levels. Beginners can get their feet wet at Anchor Bay with its shallow depths, while more experienced divers can try cave, reef or wreck diving.

Have fun in Popeye Village

Built as a film set for the 1980 film, this theme park features rustic buildings, a cinema, live-action shows and “meet and greets” with Popeye characters. Entry also includes a scenic boat trip around the bay.

Discover St Julian’s

Overlooking Spinola Bay, St Julian’s has all the charm of an old Mediterranean fishing village and also offers excitement if you want it. It has plenty of restaurants, bars and good hotels and isn’t far from Valletta.
