Codeshares don’t have to be confusing. Codeshare partnerships, or codeshares, are partnerships between operating and marketing carriers, which benefit airlines by expanding their network and reducing their operational costs. They benefit travellers too, by helping create smoother transitions between flights, and can allow travellers to fly cheaper.
