Car Rental

Rental car companies available at the Athens airport are Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National/Alamo and Sixt. These companies are located on the Arrivals Level of the main terminal. However, if you're staying within the city limits, you may want to forgo driving and use the convenient public transportation.

Public/Ground Transfer

You have several options for public transportation to and from ATH. The most convenient is the Metro (the subway) which has a station right at the airport and will cost around 2 to 3 Euros, depending on where you are going. The station is connected to the main terminal by a pedestrian bridge and also services the Suburban Rail. Regional buses are also available with stops located outside the Arrivals Level of the main terminal.

Airport Shuttles

Different kinds of shuttle services also run to and from the airport. KTEL Express is a coach service that can be found at the Arrivals Level of the main terminal. Limousine Services

As with any other major city, if you're looking for a more luxurious ride to and from the airport, there are limousine services available. These services can either be booked in advance or found outside of Exits 3 and 4 on the Arrivals Level. You'll pay a fixed rate, be taken directly to wherever you wish to go and enjoy a private ride.

Taxi Services
