The return is fantastic - all rental companies return in a single location and there is no need to wait for a receipt. IMPORTANT - an email with a detailed receipt should be sent immediately after returning the car. It wasn't.

Pick up is confusing, nobody there to go over the rental car for previous damage, and the same at drop off. I had to take lots of pictures and got accused of having a rock chip in windshield, witch was there before I took possession. I have no intentions to rent from Sixt ever again. The rental car had lots of previous damage and should have been repaired before it got brought back to the rental fleet. My thoughts are that Sixt does not take the safety of their customers and their passengers seriously.

The vehicle that I had reserved was advertised as large enough for 5 passengers and 5 large suitcases, but the agent insisted that I needed to upgrade to a vehical costing 40 euro more per day. Then, the process of leaving the garage took an inordinate amount of time because the same agent failed to provide me with a valid parking garge ticket to exit. We had to return several times by foot in order to correct the situation to leave. Therefore, we arrived at our destination over 75 minutes late. The vehical itself did not have heat for the rear passengers. That mechanism did not work for the entire journey. Very poor experience for the price paid!

Arrived at the pickup location to then be told that the car we had booked was not available. Received a car after waiting 90 minutes, and was told it was an upgrade from the car we had booked. The car we received displayed a warning message that service was overdue by 3000km and that the engine oil needed to be changed. Will not book with Alamo again.
The rental was quoted at $345. Though I attempted, I wasn't able to purchase the collision protection in advance (quoted at $17/day). I wasn't aware that each additional passenger beyond 1 person was charged an extra fee. There were other undisclosed fees and my total rental ended up being nearly $900. I sent a message to Avis customer service and was told that they would respond in 15-30 business days.

We lost one hour there and they found that the car was already demage when we took it. Please check them.

Car was good and price was great , although the waiting times to pick up the car was quite high since only one person was working. In addition the worst part was when the drop off occured where there was no physical person and the car park was full and there was no space to park the car safely, we called the appropriate number but there was no people speaking proper English to guide us had to leave the car in a bad way parked which stressed us as all sorts of issues could occur, can expect one floor of car park to accommodate all the rentals.
