Prices are average price per night of stay and may not include taxes and fees. "Total" includes our estimate of the taxes and fees. Please verify the total cost on the provider's site before you complete your reservation. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.

Ibiza, relaxing days and intense nights

Ibiza is one of the largest of the Balearic Islands and lies off the coast of Valencia, Spain. While the island is quickly associated with partying, nightlife and electronic music, Ibiza has a whole variety of attractions on offer for tourists including the charming old town, gastronomical delights and gorgeous beaches.

Natural wonders and endless partying

Enjoy the mild summer warmth from a deck chair along one of the beautiful stretches of white, sandy beaches a short walk from town, such as Las Salinas Beach or Cala Compte. Just offshore, dive the pristine Freus Marine Reserve or take a scuba diving course at the PADI dive centre and try your hand at wreck diving and underwater photography. Explore the history of Ibiza at Dalt Vila, the medieval castle in the old part of Ibiza town, and take a stroll around the World Heritage listed Port. The famous Hippy Markets provide a fun experience for visitors wanting to grab a bargain. Here you’ll find an exotic mix of clothing, hand-made shoes, jewellery and trinkets. A trip to Ibiza wouldn’t be complete without sampling the culinary genius of its world class restaurants. Try ensaimada and flao, two sweet local delicacies sold at many pastelerias.

Moving on to the evening, most bars offer drinks specials which can help save some cash for the night ahead. The long, wide street that is The West End, near San Antonio center, is packed full of bars and is generally the most crowded partying spot in Ibiza. Ibiza is renowned for large clubs and residencies by some of the world’s best DJs. Venues charge notoriously high entrance and drinks are expensive but many would argue the cost is worth it to spend a night at Pacha, Eden, Amnesia or one of the other iconic clubs.

Where to stay in the town that stays up all night

If your trip to Ibiza is focused on nightlife, booking a hotel along with the other groups of party goers in San Antonio is an option. If you prefer a less rowdy stay, then avoid the area around this central bar strip. A relaxing beachside visit is best achieved by renting a villa. However, for the more budget conscious, there are more than 300 licensed accommodation providers on the island, offering low to high end prices. August is a busy month for Ibiza so never show up during this period without making a reservation first.

Getting to Ibiza and local transport

Aeroport d’Elvissa is 7km southwest of the Ibiza’s capital and services flights from many cities in Spain, the UK and the rest of Europe. Buses between the airport and central port area run at regular intervals from morning to late evening. Outside bus operating times, taxi is the easiest way to get into town. Travelling to the island by boat is also possible, with many companies offering routes all year round. The wharf is just a few hundred metres from the heart of town. Once on the island, the local bus network covers most of the major attractions and transports tourists to many different parts of the island. While car hire is a popular choice on Ibiza, driving can be dangerous for tourists due to poor road conditions and rather reckless local drivers. Within each individual city, walking is generally the best option for getting around.
