Central location for town, nightlife and beach Not well equipped as an apartement
The location The card key system was useless and the staff unhelpful
Apartmentwas so comfortable for us:We r four in our family one child of 9 years and one of 2 years/ The sea view was amazing!!!!!!!!: We saw sunrice which was treat to our eyes. The beach was so close that our children really had precious fun
The only thing i liked about this hotel was the location & beautiful view from our balcony. The sunrise first thing was so beautiful I visited this hotel twice in 1 year three years ago & found it outstanding.Sorry to say but the hotel has gone downhill, very disappointed as we chose this hotel due to past experience to celebrate my mom's birthday. We will not return!!
Everything one of the best in Spain. No
large rooms, good price, beautiful views they didn't clean the rooms very thouroughly
friendly reception very noisy during the night. Hotel is only nice for young people that like to party
Clean, good pools and good views of ibiza town - accessible to nightlife but quite quiet if you needed it.
The location is excellent. Easy to get everywhere and it is in a relatively quite location. Next year we plan to go back to Ibiza and will be staying at the same hotel. The apartment itself was spacious and the sea view fantastic I found that when room service came to clean, they did not do a very good job
Nothing at all! This was the worst hotel we stayed in during our 2 weeks travel in Spain. The staff was very unfriendly, not polite, with no willingness to help, the answers like "it's not our business", "we cannot help you with this", " you can do it yourself" were a usual thing for them. The room were not clean, once it was not cleaned at all, we had to ask several times to clean it before they started doing something. We will never stay there again and will never advice anybody to do it.
I really like the pool and the location of the hotel.
Nice breakfast, everyday cleaning, no problem with parking. No free Internet even in lobby.
Nice, clean budget hotel. only 10 min walk from space. very thin walls so if you have noisey people in the next room you can hear them a little. Also we want to leave our bags there untill our plane that night and told us we could leave it in a hall way but we didnt really feel it was safe to leave them there. They need a safer room for people to do this..
lack of services, too much noise, hotel staff not customer focus
Nothing in particular The hotel services and staff are not guest-friendly.
Location was good The hotel staff was the worst. The were unfriendly and completely useless. This website says check-in is at 12 - it's not! It's after 2 pm if you are lucky. Once we were in our room there were hairs all over the room when we checked in. The pool was ok, but they didn't have enough lounge chairs most of the time, and roof pool that was advertised wasn't even open. You also had to pay for everything, there was a deposit to get a hairdryer which would have been fine, but then they charged you per day to use it. This seemed a bit over the top.
ok location, value for money ok the bathroom has a poor apparance and seems not clean, an low cost hotel indeed.
It is great for younger people who are here to party
Clean facilities, helpful staff and comfortable beds.
Location was good. WiFi in the room was inadequate - major turn-off... I bought a dinner one night and the all-you-can-eat didn't include beverages (like fucking water and soda) - non-starter when considering a return...
All the rooms had a small balcony/terrace. There was not fridge in the room. Housekeeping department unprofessional. Cleaner ignored signs at the room door. Although sign said do not disturb, cleaners came in several times without knocking at the door!!! Noise they made in the corridor was far unnecessary, shouting from one end of the corridor to the other, disturbing guest trying to rest.
The hotel is situated in the center of Playa den Bossa, with direct access to the beach. The bus station is in front of the hotel, and pubs and shops are on the same street. It's walking distance to Bora-Bora and Space, and most of the rooms have very nice sea view. Being so close to everything, the hotel is very noisy. The planes are passing by, the street in quite near, and most of the people who stay there are there for the clubs. So party, and you won't hear a noise. We were only disturbed on the first night. Food is ok, you can find something to eat, but I think breakfast is poor, not having any salads or vegetables. The cleaning of the room is done just to be done. We were not satisfied with it. But for the price we paid, and the location and view, I would go there again.
I like the location, the food was very good I recommended all inclusive is the best deal, most of the rooms had a very beautiful view, was quiet noise in the night time but we must understand is Ibiza, ask for me I dint mine about the noise, but if you are looking for some quiet and peaceful place Ibiza is not the right place for you, anyway I had a great time in the hotel algarb good memories thank you to all Algarb staff One of the lift was broken, and the other two was always busy,i was in the 5ft floor so was quiet hard to take the stairs, but for me this was not a big deal, but this was a big problem for the elderly.....
Location Cleanliness of the room
Room smelled like pee and was very small and in poor repair.
Nothing Basically a prostitute hotel.
Good views, good buffet with good choice, friendly staff. Easy access to airport Sun loungers worn out
The best was the location. We love Playa den Bossa. The staff's command of language was poor. Sometimes they were rude.
our hotel door handle fell off twice, after staff said they fixed it so we were unable to get in our room for hours! The reception staff were very rude and unhelpul
Polite, helpful well mannered staff. Excellent buffet food.
The situation is the best thing: directly on the beach and also by the bus stop that takes you to Ibiza city in 10 minutes. Service!! Was very bad! I made a modification to stay 1 more night one week before arriving, I sent Booking an email plus an agent called them to tell them that we were staying 1 more night. They said it was ok. We arrived and paid for the 3 nights upon arrival, I still had to explain that I had extended to 1 night. Still the 2nd morning the cleaning maid opened our door to chase us out!!!!!
calm location, what is rather exceptionnal at Ibiza, near to the boat transfer to Formenterra, good breakfast, very nice garden and swimming pool
Very nice freindly and supportive staff. Restaurant recommendation is wonderful, we really enjoyed there. The sea view from the room isspectacular and the hotel is very close to the Ibiza old town by walk. Best Recommndable place for relaxation & night life. Nothing special
Good location nice big balcony
view from tha balcony dirty rooms, old, unappealing interior, arrogant staff
The fact that it is near town but not in town and seaview rooms have an excellent sea view. Parking was easy, and has a good shower. Staff at reception, mainly one that claimed that the Hotel was his house was rude, I booked a Hotel, not a room in somebodies house. Keys to the room had to be reissued everyday as they never worked. Money up front for the entire stay. Mini bar was never refilled during the stay.
Being in Ibiza, you usually hardly remember a hotel. Torre del Mar has a great location in Platja d'en Bossa - right on the seashore, 20 min. walk from Space club and 15 min. from Bora Bora beach club. Rooms are comfortable, staff is very helpful. They have a nice outdoor swimming pool with a tower in the middle - hence, the name of Torre del Mar
The concierge was very helpful at all times I think the rooms could have been better cleaned
View from the room was amazing Bed was terrible, we booked a double but only 2 singles pushed together were available. Room was far below 4 star quality.
Good location, beautiful view from sea-view rooms, nice pool and good breakfast. Very expensive but that is Ibiza! Decor is a bit dated in the rooms, although the communal areas are nicer.
Very modern hotel and very good breakfast that was included. The rooms were nice and kept nicely No iron in the room. The beachfront was closed and the beach was ugly that was probably why it was closed. The pool area was kind of small.
facilities, abilities have to rest absence of its private beach, only public dirty beach is available. Another problem rather small pool. It is good that it is May now. But when it will be July and 150 rooms are fully occupied where to swim? In one outdoor pool or in fullyloaded dirty public beach? Hotel outdoor facilities are not credible at all for the summer high season. It does not look like four star hotel.
We really enjoyed the fabulous location, luxury and service. You get a really peaceful night's sleep even though the busy bars etc. are just 5 mins away!
The beautiful bathroom, the extremely helpful staff and excellent service such as parking your car is there wasn't an available space. Nothing - it was wonderful
Lovely well thought out luxuries and sweet efficient staff . Picked us up from restaurant to take us to the airport! Restaurant too small and outside terrace a bit cramped!
Excellent service, quiet safe hotel very well located, and anything you need they will take care of for you. Other than it being a bit pricy not really.... the service was excellent
Privbacy, quality service, quiet.
Fantastic holiday experience! Friendly and helpful staff, luxury room, good location... I can not wait to visit again!
The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The facilities are well above average. Rooms luxurious (we were in room 33.) The top floor rooms have minimal view but the otherwise exemplary surroundings more than made up for that.
Clean and comfortable with very helpful reception staff. Good size pool and gardens. Restaurant bland and noisy, lacking staff. Very noisy repair work being carried out over looking the pool and sun terrace.
Hotel is very convenient; 10 min walk to the old town and all the lovely restaurants. Rooms were comfortable although overall its a little dated. At the price we paid it was a good place to stay. Breakfast was average... but enough to eat if you weren't too fussed over the quality.
Loved the view from room. Staff efficient.Parking easy The view from, and apparent cleanliness, of the single room booked for daughter
friendly staff, clean hotel, excellent location for ibiza town liked everything
The staff were very helpful. The view of the sea is great.
Good location, walking distance to downtown Ibiza. Friendly reception. It was surprinsingly quiet (for Ibiza), no noisy teenagers in sight. Clean. Good pool. Single rooms have tiny single beds that makes the whole experince seems even more overpriced. No single room has sea view. Expensive for what it offers but in line with Ibiza prices in August.
Excellent service that we received from hotel stuff. Our flight left only late in the evening and they let us use the facilities until that time.
Quit are so this suited the purpose, to work for a couple of hours after returning from meetings. Correct breakfast service, correct reception (Room 535) Carpet is no standard of today anymore! All in all the interior of the room was old fashioned and too dark(quite depressing) if you spend some time to work. Not adapted for business traveller. No real desk!
nothing in particular seems worth to mention, except for the nice and central location in front of the sea very bad service, poor infrastructures (the air conditioning system went off during a night, producing a terrible noise, and the only reply the staff gave was "we're sorry, we have to wait, we can't do anything")
The hotel was in a very good location and It was easy to get around. Staff was not friendly at all, Free parking is not an option at all as the current capacity is up to 8 cars, Breakfast is average The hotel needs renovation and it is definitely not a 4th star hotel.
The distance from the hotel to the centre of Ibiza town. The hotel is outdated, we believe that the price/quality ratio was such that you pay too much money for what you get. Especialy compared to hotels in the middle east + rest of Europe we visited.
the hotel is located in a quiete part of the city and we can walk to the old city and some clubs the price
Friendly and helpful staff, much better than 2** and 3*** hotels. Water pool and restaurant on the roof. Good location. Free wi-fi in rooms. More fruits for breakfast
Friendly customer service, comfortable room
Very friendly and courteous staff. Over priced for what it was. I was also expecting a double bed but only twin beds on offer
Old structure, but very clean.Good position near center and Pacha.
the location was very good and the hotel is clean and comfort with nice reception comparing to other hotels in Ibiza. the room was nice also however the staff were not qualified enouph. i didin't like the staff working in the reception they were not kind when we arraived at the hotel. their language was poor.
roof top pool expensive for what it is
Staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful & accommodating which I find rare at the end of season in tourist resorts. The location, comfort, cleanliness & facilities of the hotel were ideal for an Ibiza holiday - especially as it has ample parking. The view from the harbour facing rooms isn't great but I doubt that you'd be able to find much better anywhere in Ibiza town.
Very comfortable hotel, huge room, lovely roof terrace with pool and jacuzzi, very convenient for town
Great position. At the very intersection of everything. City life, oldtown, citadel, shops, venues, port to Formentera, car and bike rents, bus stops to anywhere. All just at a few steps out of the door of a traditional stylish looking downtown hotel. View on the main square. Montesol cafe just at street level the place to chill down and see life passing by. We loved being here as a position and as Hotel traditional style and for value for money. Rooms are also "traditionally" small and the plain simple windows and glasses allow the Ibiza long lasting life noises to pour inside. We would have preferred to leave the noises out once closed the windows.
pool poor variety for breakfast
it was close to the beach evening bar staff were not welcoming
Close to beach and bus to town centre A long way from the town centre, too far to walk
Night porter and reception staff were very helpful to us. We were made very welcome even though we arrived at the hotel at 1am to store our bags in advance of our next day reservation. We were in and out of the hotel at unusual times but any request was dealt with professionally and with helpfully. It did seem a little expensive for a relatively late booking but, I guess it is high season!
Pool and efficient staff and proximity to the beach
We booked three rooms and we went for 8 days. I used to stay there every summer for the last 5 years. This year was a nightmare we could not sleep the rooms were all so hot because the change the AC sistem change with sensors that swift of and most of the night you wull be in an oven. talk to the manager and only received a wrong explanation. Need to really reoair the climate of the rooms. Food and concierge are good. But they save money turning off tge AC and you will mot bevable to sleep. Used to be the best hitel in Ibiza but no longer.
We had the sea view room and the views was very good, that's it. The hotel in general is smelly. The rooms were smelly. Beds & mattress needs replacements. A general face lift is required throughout the hotel.
The hotel is in a very good location, staff and cleaning was perfect, food was excellent, definetly we will choose this hotel when we will be next time in ibiza. missing the fridges from the rooms.
Staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The location is great if you want to walk (10mins) to the Dalt Vila (Old Town) for dinner, it's also short cab rides away from the beach clubs & nightclubs too. Rooms and hotel itself are modern & clean. Not much we didn't like. It has a pool, but we didn't use it. Didn't look very nice and was more for families. But we didn't pick it for the pool & its facilities, we wanted location.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect.
Pool, sea view and proximity to town. Good breakfast buffet. Limited and expensive access to wifi and internet, limited taxi availability, breakfast ends too early for holidaymakers - 10am
we only stayed for one night, we had our holiday on a yacht. We left the yacht on sunday and our flight was on monday so we only be there for stay the night over. We had dinner on the seaside of an italian restaurant, which was nice. The swimmingpool was very poor.
Excellent location right on the beach, great views if you have a balcony and are sea-facing The hotel is slightly dated, although this doesn't spoil the holiday. The food is as you would expect from a 3* half-board, buffet style hotel
they even take money for safe box, room does not have refrigerator, the staff dont put daily soap & shampoo for us
Fantastic sea view in my room. Staff did not impress me at all (they had a free room in a hotel but told me they do not have). Poor breakfast, no wi-fi.
Grocery store across the street Very basic accomodation/bare minimum. Beds too hard. No direct access to beach. Too expensive for what you get. No free internet access nor wifi. Given 2 twin beds instead of a queen or king. Decor old and unattractive. Annoying entertainer downstairs singing karaoke. No fridge available. Also tried to charge us for ice. Shower curtain in bathroom was awful. Ac and ceiling fan too noisey. No secure lock box. Not a good location for those without a car. There was no good restaurants in the hotel vicinity.
Tv channels too limited, many of them in german?????
Good location clean and tidy
The staff were very accomodating and helpful. Paying to use the sauna and spa is ridiculous, charging 35 euros is stupid, I may have paid that for the length of my stay but not for a once off.
New facilities. Very poor air conditioning
Good location. Privacy. Good food. Clean. Great asthetics. Would go again.
Apartments were gorgoeous, very spacious over the 3 floors, with everything you need, all mod cons and lovely decor. No long mirror anyway in apartment, only one small mirror in bathroom, not ideal when getting ready to go out.
Breakfast and gym A bit cold in the room
Very spacious, clean apartments, excellent staff, will stay again.
Convenient location close to airport, beach, and rest of city; Excellent restaurant on premises; Little convenience store on premises good for little items, like razors, etc; Beautiful exterior design to the hotel complex; Best part of rooms were the kitchen and balconies. It rained during our stay and the hotel was poorly equipped to deal with rain; Tiny gym that is not accessible 24/7; Hot-tub and other services not included; No room service; The hotel is more like an apartment complex than like a hotel - to get to the restaurant, bar, reception, gym, or other rooms, you have to walk outside; Rooms could have been furnished with greater care to make them comfortable, such as a shower that closes fully or otherwise prevents water from getting all over the bathroom floor and nicer bedding; Restaurant closes early and leaves only bar option for guests after certain hours
Design of hotel, Size of Apartments, Pool areas great for relaxing, Breakfast buffet, Location. Wlan was not working in apartment, after asking for a cable ok. Spa, Locker only for additional charge. Breakfast only until about 10.30 am.
The staff was poor, and for the price you should be treated better. I was even charged for not returning an electronic key card that was left in my room.
Excellent pool and kept very clean. Brilliant location. Not enough sun loungers around the pool. Too many Germans staying at the hotel which meant all the sun loungers were reserved by dawn each morning.
value for money hotel. ideally located and good facilities. No
My wife and I opted for a Club room and it was worth every penny. Our room was located right next to the day club and it was like having your own suite where you could just walk down to listen to the best DJs in the world. The rooms are small, the furniture is flimsy, the beds are uncomfortable but you can't beat the location and convenience of being able to walk down to the best DJs in the world.
It is right in front of Space!
If you're here for the parties, upgrade to a pool view room so you can enjoy the dance party while drinking your own alcohol. The real swimming pool is a hidden oasis, which is perfect for recovering from the late nights. The breakfast is incredible, but keep in mind whether you'll be up in time to enjoy it. The showers have clear glass into the room, which is fine if you're part of a couple, but less fun if you're there with friends. (We hung towels in front to block the view, so it is manageable.) Also, the hotel is very strict about guests, so it's worth the extra fee (you can negotiate it in person) to have everyone stay in one place.
large enough rooms with a huge sofa for friends to have a snap), nice balcon - feels like u can work out ur own party there, nice bathroom and a really good dinner!! good location if u love club space. and an amzing beach ses salines is just 5 minutes by moto. stuff could b much better while dealing with the clients of the hotel. some of them were pretty rude, some of them didn't give a sh/t bout u. our camarera de piso once said us at 4 pm (though we've been waiting for her to make up our room for the whole day) that we'd better move our asses out if we wanted to get our rooms clean. and when i asked her to wait for 10 minutes, she answered that like she had no time, that although she finished her work at 5 pm she needed time to do her own business. i was knocked out, epecially when i found out that she even didnt clean the floor. another thing to annoy - was a salty water!!! felt like i practically took a shower in the sea. and there was noo fridge. the beach in front of the hotel was dirty.
Best hotel Nothing
Get a room close to the beach if you can. Ours was in the 5000 block and was quiet, I was able to leave the door open and listen to the waves at night. Rooms closer to the pool will be more subjected to the music they play there. Room was neatly furnished and clean. Bathroom was a decent size with tub/shower. Breakfast buffet well worth the trip. Pool hours. No hot tub. Access to beach through the back closed in the evening.
The hotel is on the beach front and to not far to Ibiza Town. The half board basis and option for all inclusive makes it good value, the food is very good. The hotel is clean and has good sized rooms. I have been to this hotel a number of times and would continue to use this hotel for my holidays to Ibiza.
Everything, the food was quality, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the location was brilliant. The noise from the planes arriving or departing the airport only few mins away.
It's position was excellent, just far enough off the road to be quiet, but still in the midst of the action I had purchased an apartment, but I got given a room, which I had to re-visit the check-in desk and point out the mistake,
Good value for money for low budget Kitchen facilities were poor
Very low price, friendly staff, pools were nice, right in the centre of town with shops / bars / restaurants just outside the door.. The hotel is only really suitable for (like us) groups of lads, whilst bedding and towels were clean, the rest of the room was extremely tired / facilities very limited and it would have been totally unsuitable for couples or families. It was fine for us though as all we wanted was a cheap bed to crash out in between going out.
24 hour reception, good location - close to restaurants, bars, clubs (DC10, Space) and a short walk from the beach Bathroom toilet leaked and was not repaired until 4 days after being reported. Description of the apartment on website is incorrect, it is listed as possessing 2 double beds and 1 double sofa bed but actually holds two single beds and two single sofa beds, not ideal for two couples! The desc on your website needs to be amended according
We had a lovely view from our room and enjoyed the options of walking into town, boat or bus. Enjoyed the little beachside cafes. Beds were were not very comfy but OK.
Breakfast was nice. The views from the window were very good and the staff were very good.
the breakfast is excellant, the situation of the hotel perfect
Staff and food quality coffee machines, by the time one waited for the machines brekfast was cold!!
great staff, good location, great terrace beds could have been more confortable
Personal touch of the staff (there're only 2 people who manage the hotel). The building is very nice and you have a feeling of staying at a private house. Free parking on site (otherwise can be very explensive). Proximity to the beach - 3min, and 20 min on foot from Downtown. 30% cheaper than any other accommodation available online Floor boards which squicked in the corridor, and lack of A/C - some higher floor rooms had no fans and got very hot at the end of the day.
Clean, good location and good value for money. free parking Plain rooms, i had to pay extra fees for using the safe in the room. and made a request for extra pillows twice before i got them.
Excellent value for a good winter break, located directly on the beach. Hotel staff were excellent, food delicious, immaculately clean. I would definitely return in the summer when there will be more activities around the hotel, being winter there werent many other local places open.
friendly staff, good breakfast buffet
good located . see side rooms are very quiet ugly guests. rooms with too spanish style and blankets with spots. we had to change in the night
The hotel is brand new and overall the facilities are excellent and well maintained. Further the hotel is well laid out and thought through when it was constructed in 2014. Further it is well located if you are 25-35 and looking to party (i saw some people here with families and this is not that right hotel for that.. if you walk down the street people are trying to sell drugs... etc) It is clear that the drain in the shower goes directly into the sewage line and so the shower smells very bad especially when you leave the door closed. Further if you are used to staying in hotels that cost ca EUR 500-600 per night dont expect the same level of service here. The service is quite bad (one ex we had to ask 3 times for a menu at the pool and then had to wait for 30 min for our drinks to arrive and then they were not right and the glasses had lipstick on them). However i would imagine that most of the guests do not notice that these things are missing as they are not used to it so it should not be a problem.
the location right on the beach. ease to get into city by bus. We found the hotel quite noisy - - the walls were very thin. not much variation on breakfast.
Location, food, scenery
Easy to book a room. could be that people knew price. I don't know how they got 4 stars. Slowest unreliable internet ever.
The sea vew The staff is rude
Great pool if a bit cold, and location on beach. friendly staff and very clean room. not that easy to find, could do with decor modernisation.
Great view and location, and was excellent for a relaxing long weekend break. Can not recommend this more. Right on amazing beach, pool was also awesome. Getting to Ibiza town was real easy with a small boat ferry service across the port (15 mins) or a 30 min walk. Staff really helped, and whole hotel was clean and smart. Only one small niggle, the walls/ceiling seemed a little thin...or we're very light sleeps! Certainly not enough of a reason to not return though.
It was near the beach, had a nice pool and we had a wonderful balcony. We were able to walk to Pacha and Old Ibiza Town and I recommend Planet Sushi, however be prepared to walk 20-30min. to get to all these places or take a cheap taxi if you have money to blow. Too many boats and of course some filth near the beach because of all the boats, thought we'd be a lot farther from the filth when I looked at the map but I mean it was ok, you just had to walk along the nice lil boardwalk to get to clean water.
This time Accommodation：Single room discount price.No Breakfast／Information desk staff：Friendly staff(Some staff).Reception is opened 24 hours.I am a beginner in English.For me,staff can speak easy English／Single room：Double bed&Single bed.The room is spacious／Bath room：Shower＆bathtub／Location：A Rent motorcycle shop is very near Room：No good fragrance(Fungus).Next room living sound(Stairs are noisy).There is not a outside window／Bath room：No good fragrance(Fungus).Hot water does not flow＝Many Normal temperature／Same room：Purchase discount price＝Appropriate.Fixed price＝I do not Lodging
Location, location, location no
Close to the beach, clean. Booking.com price was more expensive than their actual prices. Rooms are between 20 and 50 euros, if you book direct with the hotel. It didn't have much of a hotel feeling, kind of more like a backpacker-lodge. The swimming pool is just a joke, it's some 6m long and in the cellar without daylight. Jacouzzi is in the fitness room, absoloutely not inviting.
Room very clean and Air conditioner worked very well. I'd recommend the hotel if you only look for party Bathroom too small;
the staff were friendly especially in the restaurant, the rooms were basic but very comfortable and clean , and there was a view of the beach which was nice.. it was very inexpensive and there was good value for money
On the beach, but close to town Noise of other guests at night (Saturday)
Nice staff. The Maritimo is next to the beach, has all convenient store and restaurant around... quite calm for Eivissa. We arrived in a "low" season.... our wall could be too thin for the noise in "high" season (maybe). The pool is not very nice... but enjoy the see next to the hotel rather.
the immediate area was very pretty, and good time of year to go. Within walking distance of Ibiza town, and easy to get to from the airport Dissappointed that we did not have a sea view but that was our fault for a later booking
the closeness to the coast
Hotel staff was not always very nice, although some of the guys were really helpful and friendly. We took half-pension, choice was very good, and for breakfast you got drinks also for free, but for dinner you had to pay for water or wine, but prices are very affordable. Also if you relax near the pool and in the mood for Sangria or some snacks, prices are very good in the hotel. rooms were pretty big with big bathrooms and small terrace with nice view. Rooms were also very clean, and cleaning lady makes the ceaning every day. On TV you can watc around 10 channels, including CNN, BBC, some german and some french channels. The location was not too good for us, young married couple with no kids yet. It was a bit wild, beach which is next to hotel was dirty and mostly for elder people and families with kids. For young people I would advise to stay somewhere closer to Cafe Del Mar, or San Antonio de Portmany town city centre, there is more life there, a lot of fancy nice cafes and restaurants and it's more civilized as well, and many nice and clean sandy beaches.
The location is ideal for a quiet beach holiday, the hotel's pool is also well maintained. The room was clean and refreshed every day. We had a sea view balcony too, although both of the plastic chairs were broken at the time of our arrival. The hotel is far enough from the busy nightlife so it is quiet enough at night but takes about an hour to walk around the bay or about 30 mins by walk plus taking the boat across. If you prefer clubbing, it is probably too far and the boats stop operating at midnight. The staff at the reception have difficulties with speaking english and we preferred to get information by ourselves rather than go through the hassle of asking them. There is no option to leave the luggage at the hotel after checking out, which is a pain if you have a late flight home. We thought the quality of food was poor in the snack bar and although there were many options to choose from at breakfast, some things were visibly not fresh, for example milk or ham. One of the staff members working during breakfast was exceptionally rude.
Hotel staff excellent & very helpful even support in anything
The breakfast buffet was amazing. The beach was very small and not so great for swimming. It's possible to take the bus to nicer beaches if you plan on seeing more of the Island rent a car it's about the same price as a taxi 45 Euros a day and the freedom and comfort was well worth it.
The pool and right on the beach, the food was also very good A bit far away from the main centre of San Antonio
That the hotel was right on the beach and just far away from san antonio that was quiet - but only a short taxi or 15 min walk away The food was only ok
staff was great.....location wonderful.....nice beach....food was yummy
The location of Sol Pinet Playa was ideal for getting to St Antoni (West End) but just far enough to have a chilled evening in the local bars. The rooms were tidied up everyday and the hotel was generally clean. For the price the hotel was too basic, especially the facilities in the bed rooms. There was no hair dryer, soap (shower Gel), remote control for tv or a hotel guide provided in the rooms. I had to pay 12Euros to use the safe in the room. There were no left luggage facilties. The bar was a bit bland and did not encourage me to spend any money at the hotel.
Excellent breakfast + dinners buffets.
Ok for the weekend - 2 nights. Hotel situated on small (man made) beach front, we only stayed for the weekend; breakfast was very basic, coffee horrible, leak in the dinning room; water flooding down from celling by where the food was being served. Room clean but also very basic.
