One newer feature in the airport are the parking kiosks found on the 1st and 3rd Levels. Passengers can run their parking ticket through the machine and pay their parking fee before leaving the airport making the exit from the garage very efficient. The P1 (Parkade) is generally only used for short term parking. The first 15 minutes are free, after that it is $2 (1.88USD) for every 15 minutes with a maximum of $16.50 (15.50USD) per day.

Long Term Parking

P4 is the Long-Term Lot. It is within walking distance of the terminal and has room for taller trucks and vans. Rates in this lot are $2 (1.88USD) for every 15 minutes with a maximum rate of $12 (11.30USD) per day or $60 (56.40USD) per week. Due to the lack of height restrictions, this is often the best choice for those with handicapped vans.

Discount Airport Parking

The privately owned Park 'N' Fly lot is a good choice for those trying to save money. Free shuttle service takes passengers from the lot to the airport as needed. Rates in the Park 'N' Fly lot are $11.95 (11.24USD) per day or $59.95 (56.37USD) per week. Plus, the company's website offers discount coupons that help reduce those rates by up to $5 Canadian.

Handicapped Parking

There are handicapped parking spaces on each level of the Parkade and taller vans fit nicely in the Long-Term Lot. If assistance is required in any of the parking areas, passengers can either call the airport to have someone waiting or arrange it with their airline. There are a few curbside parking spaces that allow those with a handicapped plate to utilize for drop-offs. There is a maximum 20 minute stay in these curbside spots.

Airport Hotel Parking

Travelers interested in staying at a hotel and parking in the hotel lot while away should call the airport and find daily parking rates, if they are offered at all. Days Inn Ottawa Airport is the closest airport hotel, but it books up quickly, so advanced reservations are highly suggested.
