I spent most of my time at the Cabana pool. The staff was amazing. The pool was gorgeous. With the breeze and abundant shade provided by Palm trees and umbrellas there were a couple of times I was a actually chilled, despite the fact it was 108 degrees

My room was in one of the cottages. The setting was lovely, and very old Phoenix. Yet the room itself was very modern. I really enjoyed my stay. I had intended to stay at the Royal Palms, but the Biltmore's price was about half. The Royal Palms is lovely, and intimate. But both are a Phoenix instiution, and the Biltmore is the loveliest large resort in which I have every stayed.

Historic, beautiful, unique, spacious room/cottage.

The cost of items in the café were exorbitant - for subpar coffee/pastries, etc. After the 1st day, we found it worth driving off property for a decent latte at Starbucks for a fraction of the price. Tennis courts were in terrible condition.

I'm glad to have seen this historic hotel & it's beautiful grounds, but sad to see it crumbling at the corners (probably tough to keep up with repairs). Room was big & patio lovely, but bathroom was outdated and poorly designed. It was impossible to get a place poolside unless you staked it out early...which most people do and then abuse the system. Nice walking trail along the canal.

I was here for a week at the end of August . Beautiful resort, very clean rooms and great staff. The river ranch is perfect for little kids. Downfall was the swim up bar had 1 bartender bit she was in side and was rude. Easy check/out.  Big resort so if have little kids request a room close to water park. All restraurant had excellent food. But drinks are expensive. Kids eat for free and they have excellent choices for the kids

The pictures do no represent this place. The check in process with the guest services manager was underwhelming. He said only one room was available and it was minutes from 4:00, we did not get correct bed type, we did get a dirty room that overlooked the housekeeping area, thus the view was dirty linens and the back of a work area. I asked if there was an area that was more recently renovated he said no and handed us our room key. He could not have cared less about the guests. The room was dirty and half way through the fridge broke, and our kiddos milk etc. spoiled. It took a while to get a replacement and of course that lent us to have to tip the guy who brought it. (wasn't his fault). The pool was way over populated, hardly could move about the very old dingy lazy river. The bathtub did not drain well (that is always pleasant) YUCK!! We had a lengthy walk to the lazy river across a parking lot, really could not believe at 4:00 only one room was available due to housekeeping accordi...

The ambiance of this hotel and it's beautiful grounds made it one of a kind.

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel. Even the other guests were delightful. We had a light that was burned out and a mattress that sagged. When we told mgmt at check out they were immediately arranging to have it taken care of.

Common grounds and landscaping were picturesque and peaceful. The centralized location allowed us to easily visit Scottsdale and Phoenix. We also took advantage of the close proximity (5 minutes by car) to Mount Camelback's hiking trails.

For the price of the hotel and 5 star status, we thought the rooms left a little to be desired. The beds/linens were not up to 5 star caliber. We also heard every footstep from our neighbors above as we were on the first floor, which was unwelcomed @ 6a

The resort is nice, room was spacious, but did have paint pealing off the wall. Very limited restaurant choices.  Except for the golf course, it shouldn't be called a resort. We were there in November and without the water park you got no value for the resort fee. Would not recommend or return.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Associated 'water park' was great.

did not expect a 4 star hotel to have room defects: door hinges falling off, took 5 - 6 minutes to get hot water, wall paper peeling. Air purified room purifier started giving burning smell after continual use, had to turn off.

Restaurant food was good at the Point in Tyme.

The rooms and how much space it gives you, plus all the pools.

The pools always have stuff floating in them and are dirty.

The best resort and spa I have ever been too.You are pampered the moment you drive up to the massive entrance. From there there are no worries everything is there for you, never have to leave the property. The restaurants are so good excellent chefs.Alot of staff to care for you at any of the 4 pools. There are activities everyday for you like yoga, and for the kids, golf for the husband. You will love it,the heat wasn't bad and I went in July.

Normally when booking a hotel, you pay via cc when you make your reservation then when you arrive they ask for a cc that will get charged only if there's damages. So I 'paid' w/ the company CC (AMEX) in the amount of $260. Upon arrival, when giving a card for 'damages' I gave them my debit card b/c that was the only card I had on me. Turns out they charged the ENTIRE stay on my debit card instead in the about $325 (I hadn't charged anything to my room either. That was just for the room for 1 nite). A couple days later, when I went to call about it, the CSR said she could help me w/ the billing issue. When I told her what it was, she xfrd me to the Business Center where I was on hold for 19 minutes. I then hung up, called back and spoke w/ the same woman and told her that I have a billing issue, she said she was going to xfr me to accounting. I told her that I think they are closed b/c I was just on hold for 19 minutes. She xfrs me anyway where I remain on hold for another 20 minutes be...

Prices are average price per night of stay and may not include taxes and fees. "Total" includes our estimate of the taxes and fees. Please verify the total cost on the provider's site before you complete your reservation. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
