Long Term Parking

Unlike many airports, Wichita Mid-Continent Airport does not offer weekly or monthly discounts on parking. There are a number of parking lots available to tourists, but a low daily rate is the best most will find. In the long-term lot, passengers pay $3 for up to one hour, $5 for one to two hours, or $7 for two to twenty-four hours. The long-term lot has nearly 1,400 spaces and payment can be made by credit card, debit card, check, or cash. Passengers walk from the long-term lot to the terminal along a number of sidewalks.

Discount Airport Parking

Though it costs the same as the long-term parking, the Shuttle Lot is a popular choice with passengers. Free shuttle buses bring passengers directly to the terminal. Prices are still $3, $5, and $7, and there are almost 450 available spaces. Nine of these spaces are for handicapped passengers. The Shuttle Lot is not manned, so passengers can pay by credit card only.

Handicapped Parking

Either the Shuttle Lot (see Discount Parking) or the short-term lot will work for handicapped parking. The short-term lot has sixteen handicapped spaces that are located closest to the terminal. Rates in this lot are: First 30 minutes are free, then $2 for one hour, $4 for two hours, $6 for three hours, or $9 for four hours. For longer stays, a maximum daily rate of $12 is charged. The short-term lot is directly across from the terminal, passengers need only walk across Mid-Continent Drive and the Taxi Cab Lane.

Airport Hotel Parking

Best Western Airport Inn offers Park & Fly packages. Guests spend at least one night in the hotel, either before or after flying, and receive fourteen days of free parking while they are away. Courtyard Marriott does not currently offer packages, but they do offer discounted parking of $8 per day. Other hotels in the area include Comfort Suites, Hilton Wichita Airport, Holiday Inn Wichita Airport, and Quality Inn Airport, they request that visitors call the specific hotel to discuss current parking rates or packages.
