Camp de Mar, located in the Andratx region on the south coast of Majorca, is one of the island's finest seaside resorts. Majorica is the largest of Spain's Balearic Islands and Camp de Mar is relatively close to its capital, Palma.

Transport for Camp de Mar holidays

Visitors to Majorca land at the Son Sant Joan international airport in Palma. Palma, which is 20 miles from Camp de Mar, can also be accessed by cruise ship. As there is no train station in Camp de Mar, visitors have to reach the resort by road by taking bus number 102 from Palma. The Mediterranean climate in Majorca is generally warmer than that of the U.K. and much of the rest of Europe. The Blue Flag beach at the Camp de Mar resort is sheltered by headlands. There, visitors will find 180 metres of soft sand where they can relax with hired beach sunbeds and parasols. The Camp de Mar resort features a little offshore island with a restaurant, connected to the beach by a wooden jetty. The bay surrounding Camp de Mar is also suitable for snorkelling.

There are six championship golf courses around the Camp de Mar, the most famous of which is probably that of the Golf de Andratx, which has been ranked the 11^th best golf course in Europe. The course's hole number 6 is a 666 yards long, making it the longest in Spain. Overall, the golf course extends 6,659 yards.
