The pickup point was unclear. Had to ask around to find out where to go. The friendly pickup driver was excellent. He handled our heavy luggage and gave us instructions on where to go and what to do. The staff were all courteous and though there was a line of people ahead of us, it moved along well. The vehicle was a low mileage SUV in great condition. The price was better than the big name competitors. So, all in all it was a good experience. Would use them again.

Not enough staff at pickup, waited over an hour. Was not told in advance there would be extra fee for taking car out of the state. That is deceptive.

The car rental price was good, but all the extra fees were more than the car price. Also the deposit is yet to be returned. I put it up immediately and it should be returned immediately.

Every customer in the building had an issue with their rental in one form or another. Lost reservation and no car were common themes. For me they wouldn’t accept my military ID citing “why isn’t your husband with you? How do we know you’re still married?” After calling an Uber to get me, they decided to rent to me because I was using an amex card. It was a ghetto experience and not worth the $30-$50 savings. Go with a name brand company.

Car was nice and really enjoyed driving it. Unusual was extra insurance on the top of rent for 4 days cost extra $240, but as you there already and about to pick the car going to pay. Very not cool

As I reached out earlier this trip the initial rental car I rented did not have properly working A/C, I was not angry or rude and the agency did eventually meet me in Elefsina to exchange the car. As I continued my trip we went to Kynthos were I ended up getting a flat tire on 6/12.. I immediately call green motion to report the incident. They became irate with me and kept stating I should not have taken the car to the island, which I was not aware of(which I will take responsibility if it was in the contract and I missed it). When I returned from the island I took the car To the shop and had a new tire put on the car. When I returned the car I turned in the keys and loaded my families stuff in the shuttle. A gentleman checked the car and I was issued a refund for the deposit. We started down the road in the shuttle when the driver got a call and did a u turn in the road with no explanation. I then asked are we going back and he said yes “the lady needs to talk to you.” At this point it would be considered in the United States that my family and I were being kidnapped as I was being taken against my will. ( I’m not sure The law in Greece) I was then asked to come back in the office where the lady told me the tire is “broken” I said no it’s not it is replaced. She said I had to replace two tires since I got a flat on one. I said I read the policy and did not see that anywhere just that I needed to replace the damaged tire. She then started filling out a claim which I did not understand. At this point I got my father-in-law on the phone( who speaks Greek). The employees became very angry and it became apparent I was not going to be able to leave. I asked them can I please be taken to the airport in which they replied no. I said charge me for the tire and let me go they said I could not leave and I had to wait for a mechanic. I then asked them directly am I being held against my will to which I received no reply. I asked a 2nd time am I being held against my will or can I take my luggage and leave. An employee then told me yes leave and take your luggage. I then had to remove my 3 kids, wife, 3 checked bags, 5 book bags, two car seats, and a carry on out of the shuttle by myself and start walking down the sidewalk to get to the airport. It is very apparent to me know that they were trying to coerce my into doing what they want because they knew I needed the shuttle to the airport. I would recommend kayak looking into this before allowing them to be used on your site. At no point should I have been forced to walked down the road with my 3 young kids and all my luggage.

Incorrect pickup location address provided and when calling them they were very rude and kept hanging up the phone before being able to ask them any questions. Had to call 4 times to be able to get the right pickup address.

I arrived, and they had the wrong car. They had an SUV-type 7-seater, but I booked a people carrier van. They didn't have any available, so I had to wait 90 minutes with 3 children for the car to be ready. They claimed the issue with the booking was with Kayak/Expedia, and they made me pay the difference in upgrading the car. I showed them the booking confirmation and the picture of the van/people carrier with 9 seats, but they still made me pay. I was so tired and knew I needed the van that I had to pay to get out of the place. The manager was helpful, and the people were lovely. But I find all car rental places to be borderline crooks. This just confirmed it again for me. There are ridiculous add-ons for mileage, car seats for kids (a legal requirement), insurance, and excess. The list goes on.

Pros:

the staff at the Luton Airport office were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The car which I was supposed to rent was not available and I was provided with options which I was told were upgrades. However, the car that was provided me was definitely a downgrade from the car I was supposed to rent. It was the cheapest, most underpowered Skoda I have ever had the displeasure of driving, compared to the Peugeot 308 I was supposed to rent. It was fine for a day, but will not be renting from SixT again this bait and switch.

They failed to deliver the deal - closed at my scheduled pick up time - no apology - and now they dispute my claim for a refund as they say they cannot refund after the scheduled pick up time - probably the worst ever rental car experience you can ever have

The ease from we arrived in Luton to collection of car and quick return everything was very smooth.Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Car had a stale smoke smell which did not leave it all weekend. car was a Vauxhall Mokka classed as an SUV but was quite small for 5 of us and not very comfortable.

Pros:

Upgraded to a bigger car (no small ones available) which turned out to be a dream to drive. Gave me their local telephone number so I wouldn't have to pay premium rate as I knew I would probably have to extend hire. I did extend but there was no hassle abot that - just paid an extra day's hire at the rate I'd originally booked. No delay at check in or check out. Was I just lucky with my timing?
