I arrived, and they had the wrong car. They had an SUV-type 7-seater, but I booked a people carrier van. They didn't have any available, so I had to wait 90 minutes with 3 children for the car to be ready. They claimed the issue with the booking was with Kayak/Expedia, and they made me pay the difference in upgrading the car. I showed them the booking confirmation and the picture of the van/people carrier with 9 seats, but they still made me pay. I was so tired and knew I needed the van that I had to pay to get out of the place. The manager was helpful, and the people were lovely. But I find all car rental places to be borderline crooks. This just confirmed it again for me. There are ridiculous add-ons for mileage, car seats for kids (a legal requirement), insurance, and excess. The list goes on.

I never got the car, because they had a rule that was not disclosed prior to making the reservation; that if I was not departing the day I was returning the vehicle they required a $500 deposit. This was very disappointing. So I had to cancel; which resulted in me loosing my money that I paid up front. So, i will not recommend them ever. I ended up renting with ACE, which was a few dollars cheaper and a much better experience overall.

They charged me extra for unlimited miles, for local driver upon pick up. I didn’t want to rent anymore but my order was non refundable. So I had no choice but to pay up or lose more money. My rental agreement with kayaks said it was unlimited miles. Very disappointed in both companies for there no transparency, the pick up location was not very inviting, had to wait a half hr. To get help with no AC in the building. Never going here again

The email from Easirent with information about my car rental listed Charlotte as the airport instead of Las Vegas which caused me unnecessary confusion and concern. When I tried calling the phone number listed, I was connected to an international agency with an automated message saying they were closed. The email from Easirent also did not explain that we would be taking two separate shuttles to get to the rental center causing further confusion. It was not communicated that Easirent was offsite.

All they want is to not return your deposit amount. They inspect the car and find out peculiar issues with it. There is no inspection at the start. And if there is even a smalll scratch they would replace the whole part. What they want is not to return your deposit money.

Pros:

Staff were EXCEPTIONAL - extremely helpful, gave us all kinds of useful information, really great attitudes and I got lost in trying to find the drop off and was going to miss my flight so one of the staff gave me a ride to the terminal and I was able to catch my flight. I couldn't be more grateful!

Cons:

GPS does not pick up car rental village... have BIG SIGN out on the roadway showing car rental return like they do in the USA it's so easy here. The GPS took me to an Uber waiting parking area and not one of the signs on the roundabout said CAR RENTAL VILLAGE.

They didn’t have any mid-size suvs—the class we had reserved. Tried to rent us large 10 passenger van instead, which was unacceptable. Eventually manager became involved and we settled on Ford Galaxy which they told us was our only other option without paying much more.

Did not get a final bill at the return -- got a copy of damage report emailed (no damage, everything in order, fuel full, etc. ), but did not get a bill. I rent a lot for business and family trips and expect to immediatly get a final bill for the rental on return -- very unsatisfactory. Will I get a surprise? I don't know?

Cons:

I booked a Mercedes or similar for $375 but when I got there to pick it up they only had a Volkswagen Golf available and wanted $988. I got a my credit card total refund.Ordered a taxi to a location away from the airport and got a Mercedes for $340 from Enterprise.

Although there was a slight mix up about the pick up location for the car. The manager was able to get me the car at anothe location and they transported me for free to this location to pick up the car. The car itself was a fairly new car and I did not have any problems whatsoever driving the car. I will use this rental service again.

Pick up seemed okay, I felt I knew more information that I received from online than the employee did. Our vehicle was all beat up on the outside, no floor mats, sticky stuff on the inside. Had good a/c and got us to and from locations which was the main thing. Wished it was cleaner and not so dented prior. Made us nervous we would be charged after. Check out was not so good. Employee checked car in and sent us to get printed receipt which we needed and the employee at the desk had an attitude huffing and puffing as if we were annoying her by asking for our closing receipt. Not very personable on the trips to and from airport on shuttle but each trip they did help load and load luggage and opened doors.

Overall, this was a horrible experience renting through Ace. I made a reservation while on vacation with my family. Once I arriving I was advised that my reservation had expired because I was 4 hours late. I explained to the representative that I call after noticing my pickup was at noon, but my flight arrived at seven. I was told it wouldn't be a problem. The representative told me that the customer service team I called is not connected to their center. He said it's nothing he can do and sat down. I Uber to the hotel and rented from Buget then next day. Horrible customer service!

Horrible customer service experience. There were no instructions in how to get there, they are not located in the airport and you have to find the shuttle which is not easy with no directions. It took us so long that when we got there they said our booking was essentially cancelled and we’d have to make a new booking for 30% more. Awful experience, highway robbery.

they are scammers: thet have charged me 22,40 euro because the car was not clear in their opinion. The car of course was not clean as when i got the car but was not very dirty at all. 1200 dollars charged for a chip in the windshield, is a racket, I doubt they will be repairing the chip or replacing the windshield like they said they had to. Also the 3rd party rental insurance I got from kayaks when I got the car didn't cover it they said. After this trip I won't be using kayak, Surprice or Expedia again and will definitely tell my friends about the bad experience.

Because I did not have an international drivers permit, they refused to rent me the car. So, I went to Hertz and they were happy to rent me a car without an IDP. I still need a refund… terrible that I had to spend my first day of vacation dealing with this.

Drivalia offers cars with letter "e" in description. You don't know-it is full electric. To me it is economy. In Italy the infrastructure for electric cars is poor. Also,Drivalia uses Chinese MG small suv hybrid. This is really weird hybrid you don't want to drive. Eats lot of gas and you have to change this hybrid like full electric car. Milano int. Airport does not have good signs to get to rent garage to drop your car.

Picked up the car and it was filthy. Clearly hadn’t been cleaned since being used before. Key intermittently stopped working and were locked out of the car, when trying to open it manually, car alarm would repeatedly go off. Car was not maintained well.

We liked the good value for money, and the car itself was just what we wanted and had no issues. It was not completely clean though when we received it, nor did it come full of fuel- under half a tank. The pick up and collection from the car park was fine and very quick. It was the wait time at the drivalia desk to sign the contract and pay the deposit which took too long. We joined the queue at 10:30am and we’re not at the front until 12:00pm. We were not in a rush but other customers were as they had plans or connections to make.
