How strict is Jet2 with hand luggage size?

- Jet2 does use bag sizers at the gate on some routes and during busy periods. If your cabin bag doesn’t fit, it will be removed and placed in the hold at an additional charge.

What else can I take on board my flight?
There are some items that you can take aboard a Jet2 flight that don’t need to be included within your hand luggage allowance. These are:
- Two pieces of mobility equipment that are essential. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account individual needs.
- Essential medications. Those in quantities over 100ml must be certified as authentic by a doctor’s letter and should be in their original containers.
- Baby milk (powdered or liquid form), baby food nappies and wipes.
Travelling with children.
When it comes to Jet2 cabin bags, infants under two years old don’t get a separate bag allowance. However, an extra 10kg of weight allowance can be added to an accompanying adult’s 22kg hold bag for free.
This is applicable for each infant and adult pairing on a Jet2 booking. For children over two years old, the same luggage policies apply as with adults.
Any two items of equipment per child or infant, such as a collapsible pram, car seat, booster seat, baby back carrier, and/or a travel cot, can be put in the hold free of charge.
