The second you walk in, the smell of thick cigarette smoke hits you in the face! We didn’t go to the casino or restaurants at all because of the smell. The room was very clean and nice but not comfortable. The chairs were more like sitting on straight back church pews and the bed was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. Cons (-) Smoky musty smell when checking in and all throughout the hotel except room thankfully. Staff at front desk check in were not service oriented. Pros (+) Large spacious clean rooms. Very comfortable beds.
Cons (-) We did the weekend kayak trip which leaves from and returns to the hotel when the trip is complete. Our vehicle, which was parked in the hotel parking lot while we were on the kayak trip was broke into and items were stolen.

Pros (+) The check in was a little disorganized although the staff were very friendly. It's a busy hotel with a lot going on and things to do. The setting is beautiful above Lake Mead. I stayed with my dogs and enjoyed my room. The bed was very comfortable, the king room spacious. It was very quiet with just a little triffic noise. I would definitely stay here again.
