Smoky musty smell when checking in and all throughout the hotel except room thankfully. Staff at front desk check in were not service oriented. We were told over the phone to come check in at 12:00pm. Then got greeted by Jose at the front desk saying no check in until 4 pm. But he offered to reserve 2 nice rooms for us on 10th floor and come back later to check in. Then when we came back later around 5:30pm and checked in with Carl, one of our rooms had been given away and “supposedly” no other rooms available except for 4th floor with a horrible view of the top of a building and older part of hotel! We called him to complain and he said he was sorry but that was the best he had and hotel completely full!!! We asked to talk to a manager and he said he was supervisor and we told him we were not happy and the room was unacceptable and needed speak to the manager. After waiting quite awhile on the phone, Ester came on the line and was wonderful and miraculously found us a room on the 10th floor right away!!! Then we were satisfied and happy. This all caused us about an hour of wasted time!
Room was nice and comfortable.
More bottles of water in the room.
Large room, market had large assortment of drinks and snacks. Good assortment of gaming machines
Terrible food and coffee. Dirty swimming pool
Staff were very friendly and helpful. A lot to do in hotel and surrounding area. Prices were very reasonable.
No hot water in bathroom facet.
Large spacious clean rooms. Very comfortable beds.
We did the weekend kayak trip which leaves from and returns to the hotel when the trip is complete. Our vehicle, which was parked in the hotel parking lot while we were on the kayak trip was broke into and items were stolen.
The check in was a little disorganized although the staff were very friendly. It's a busy hotel with a lot going on and things to do. The setting is beautiful above Lake Mead. I stayed with my dogs and enjoyed my room. The bed was very comfortable, the king room spacious. It was very quiet with just a little triffic noise. I would definitely stay here again.
Glad we left the strip
The room. The employee's. The view. The location.
The steak house. The steak I had was one of the worst I've ever paid for. The TV in the room didn't work very well and could use a few more stations.
Damaged room lock. Staff gave us 4 sets of keys to use only 1 intermittently worked befor they finaly relocated us to another room. Insincere front desk staff.
Cleanliness and friendly staff.
Shower water pressure was to low and the water settings were not right. Shower water ran Hot..
Good stop for a road trip
It was very conveniently located by the dam and by the county lines. The store and restaurants with were a nice option. The food at the cafe was really good. Plus the casino games were amusing.
The tv was trash. No HD just a shaking snowy screen. While the cafe was good, the customer service was not.
The fact they redid the hotel from previous owner. Hotel looks good. When we check in the gentleman who checked us in was very pleasant and professional and worked quickly to take care of all in line.
While the hotel looked good i believe the check in desk was understaffed. We waited behind 8 people for close to half an hour while there was only one person checking in guests. The cafe was also highly understaffed. We waited close to 10 minutes to be approached/seated. Once seated we waited between 10-15 minutes to which know one even came back.. We eventually got up and went to eat elsewhere. Having a nice hotel is great but very little staff to serve. I will think twice before booking a room again.
