Long Term Parking

There are two long-term parking lots at Manchester Airport. Lot 1/3 serves Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, while Lot 2 serves Terminal 2. Cars must be parked for a minimum twenty-four hours to use this parking garage. The rate is £19 ($38) for one day, £29.50 ($59) for two days, £39 ($78) for three days, £42.50 ($85) for four days, £44.50 ($89) for five days, £47.50 ($95) for six days, £50 ($100) for a week. Those needing more time will then add £7 ($14) every additional day.

Discount Airport Parking

Booking online guarantees the lowest possible rate. Long-term parking options are farther from the terminals, but they also offer lower rates and free airport shuttles are available. There is a minimum stay of twenty-four hours required in the Long-term lots. The short-term garages all have flat rates of £1.80 ($3.60) for the first half hour, £3.50 ($7) for one hour, £5.10 ($10.20) for two hours, £7.50 ($15) for three hours, £10 ($20) for four hours, £15 ($30) for six hours, £21.90 ($43.80) for up to sixteen hours, or £26.50 ($53) per twenty-four hours. These garages are closest to the terminals making them more convenient. Motorcycles receive a substantial discount paying only £2 ($4) per day in all parking areas.

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped parking spaces are available in each of the short-term garages. These spaces are close to the elevators making it easy for disabled travelers to reach their terminal. There is a height limit of 6 ½ feet in these garages, so those with taller trucks or vans may need to call the airport for advice on where to park.

Airport Hotel Parking

Seven area hotels are located within two miles of Manchester Airport, but not all offer free parking. Radisson SAS Hotel is the only hotel adjacent to the airport terminals making it a popular choice. Radisson's rates are higher than other hotels, but it is right at the airport and parking is free for up to seven days. Bewley's Airport Hotel offers parking in either open or covered garages. Country House is farther from the airport, but it does offer free parking with a hotel stay and the hotel does have a free shuttle from midnight to 11:25 pm. Bower Hotel offers park and fly packages, but they do not offer a free shuttle to the airport, taxi fare costs approximately £20 ($40). Britannia Hotel offers free shuttle to the airport every two hours from 10pm to 4am and up to eight days of parking are included in the price.
