Prices are average price per night of stay and may not include taxes and fees. "Total" includes our estimate of the taxes and fees. Please verify the total cost on the provider's site before you complete your reservation. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
Please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.

Tenerife

With 300 sunny days per year, it’s no wonder Tenerife is one of the top holiday destinations in Europe. The largest of the Canary Islands and most populated island of Spain, Tenerife is also home to the third highest volcano in the world, El Teide. Although not part of the EU, the Canary Islands have adopted the Euro as the official currency. The combination of lush forests, spectacular beaches, vibrant nightlife and exotic flora and fauna is hard to beat.

Volcanic wonders to miniature cities

At the risk of experiencing minor altitude sickness, a stunning panorama of Tenerife can be viewed after a quick trip up the El Teide volcano by cable car. Visitors can also get a permit and take on the challenge of climbing the summit on foot. More volcanic fun can be found in a swim at the natural rock pools formed by the Trevejo volcano, or along the peacefully quiet black sand beach at El Bollullo. The Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre brings together a number of significant archaeological finds in three different museums covering the history of the island’s native people and is a go-to for curious tourists.

Golden beaches built from Saharan sand stretch along the coastline of Tenerife. The consistently warm summers attract holidaymakers in search of sun-drenched beaches, whale watching and watersports including surfing, windsurfing, jet skiing, diving, submarine safaris and parasailing. A variety of theme parks add to the lively atmosphere. Siam Park and Aqualand Costa Adeje offer plenty of water slides, while Loro Parque hosts the world’s largest collection of parrots. Also worth visiting is the miniature city at Pueblo Chic and the curious five pyramids of Pirámides de Güímar.

As the sun goes down, take a stroll through La Laguna, the ancient capital, and admire the Renaissance mansions and volcanic stone churches. This historic centre has a lively cafe and bar scene and can be the perfect start to an evening on the town. Take advantage of the balmy nights with all night long cocktails and dancing at one of Tenerife’s opulent lounge bars.

Travelling to Tenerife

Tenerife has two airports, Reina Sofia in the South and Los Rodeos in the North. Between the two, it’s possible to arrive by plane from cities all over Europe. A number of regular bus services connect both airports to other towns on the island. The only other means of travel to Tenerife is by ferry directly to Santa Cruz de Tenerife or Los Cristianos from Cadiz in Spain. Within the city, the extensive public transport network makes getting around fairly simple. Buses make up the majority of routes, although there is a tram line between Santa Cruz and La Laguna which can be used with the same regular ticket.
