Arrandale House

Really amazing hotel! Staff is really warm and hospitable. I didn't know the breakfast is made-to-order and so tasty. Room is big and got really nice view with a bit of sea. Nice beds and arm chairs. Lots of tea bags and coffee provided. All of these is way beyond my expectations for the very humble price I paid.

It's not as easy to get to compared to the hotels directly on the waterfront. Need to walk quite a bit from the nearest bus stop.

Arrandale House is a character building in a quiet part of town overlooking a public open space. Staff are friendly and helpful and the room we were allocated had a great view looking towards the sea. Beds were comfortable and the usual tea/coffee provided in the room. It offers excellent overall value

We were using public transport so the hotel being away from the centre and up a steep hill is better suited to those with cars/motorcycles. Whilst we prefer a wider choice of breakfast items, ie fruit & pastries, these days to the traditional English breakfast, Arrandale provides a well cooked version and for the price and short stay duration, there's no reason to complain. The available space in the en-suite bathroom had limited the layout options such that the toilet and basin were in uncomfortable proximity.

Staff were excellent. Very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. Property was good but not superb, a little dated. Location was very good. Only a short walk to the promenade.

Nothing really. It was a little dated but not unpleasant at all.

Very clean room with out look over Douglas great breakfast in morning nice to be able get eveing meals in bar . Well stocked bar fair prices. good location near to horse tram bus stops and villa marina and gaiety theater only 10 mins from sea terminal by car

Steep hill but that's not hotels fault and plan to return next year
