Cons (-) I couldn't figure out how to turn on the hot water in the shower. This may have been my fault, but I tried may different combinations and it was still cold. As I had a very early departure I couldn't ask the front desk for help, so it was unfortunate

Pros (+) Clean and updated with amazing location. Over a busy road but the windows block all the noise at night. Waking up to over see the canal and historic buildings was a treat.

Pros (+) The rooms had fabulous views of the water. Very comfortable beds and a much larger bathroom than I anticipated. Very close to the old town. Nice little bar attached for a late night drink and/or early morning coffee. Front desk people were very nice and helpful!

Pros (+) It's a small hotel (11 rooms) with class (400 year old building on the island of Čiovo across the canal separating Čiovo from the island of the Old Town of Trogir). The staff (of one) was exceptional when we checked in at 5 pm and checked out at 4:45 am for a 6:30 am flight. They switched our room from the 3rd to 1st floor so I didn't have to climb stairs and recommended we schedule a 20 Euro Uber...

Pros (+) Location was great and the hotel was easy to find.
Cons (-) The room was like an attic room and had a sloping ceiling. This was a bit awkward and we were worried about banging our heads. It also made some of the room space awkward to use.
