The location was perfect for me because it is near my son's place. It's near lots of restaurants. I thought it was perfect at first. I like the fact there was a full kitchen and the 1 bedroom suite was large and roomy.
I did not have heat in my bedroom in the first room. The next day they moved me to another room which didn't have heat in the living room. It was 20 degrees each night. I am waiting to hear from management about a refund. Construction was very loud. The Hotel has a full kitchen which is very helpful. My first room was large. The second was smaller but had a balcony. The rooms were clean. Lots of construction made it difficult to walk around and sleep in the morning. I had a problem with not having heat for both days of my 2day stay. I would love to stay there again because the location is close to my son's apartment which makes it easy to visit. However, I don't think I will unless I get a satisfactory resolution of my complaint.
There was more space in the room that I expected for an NYC hotel.A nice, clean hotel on the Upper East Side, close to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and other museums. Highly recommended.
Very spacious and great city views. Extremely clean.
Subway constuction right in front of hotel.Perfect for our needs, location near where we wanted to stay, very spacious, great city views, better than we expected!
Helpful and friendly staff. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to help make our NYC experience the best possible.
We were on the 4th floor - right above a lot of street construction. It wasn't the hotel's fault, but it was an unfortunate part of the stay.We would definitely stay at Marmara again - and recommend it to friends.
Rooms are large and the separate bedroom and kitchen are ideal for families with children.
The location is ok but far from main areas of NYC. Taxis were not expensive but definitely necessary to access the hotel. Although the hotel room was nice, it definitely was not as stunning as the pictures on their website made it appear to be.Overall a good experience. A huge hotel for NYC standards, but you sacrifice the location and convenience of staying in Midtown or Times Square area.
Good location, competent staff and reasonable price. Well equiped kitchen. Roomy. Quiet.
The common areas were very tired. One of the two common area bathrooms was out of order. Wi-fi was slow. Sofa-bed was very uncomfortable. While I think the three star rating is a bit of a stretch, the price, location and friendly and competent staff made it an enjoyable stay and a good value. Lots of food stores and restaurants near by and a relatively short walk to a well served subway station.
Kind, polite staff. Excellent location, housekeeping was exceptional. All in all an amazing experience. Will definitely go back
Rooms were very clean, great room size, very comfortable bed, friendly and accommodating staff
NoVery pleased with this hotel. Had absolutely no complaints. Room size was great and very clean. Great views from every angle. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again when visiting.
Great location, and very spacious rooms. The full kitchen included everything we needed. Great, helpful staff.
This hotel is a mix of residences and hotel suites, so the hall smelled of food at times. A big negative was the construction RIGHT outside the lower floors of the hotel, which was loud, and started early. This was not a real issue for us, but might be.Great location close to subway and museums. Spacious rooms with kitchen. Perfect for a family trip to NYC. The staff was friendly and helpful. They hailed a taxi for us on 1st Ave, since 94th was closed. I would stay here again for certain.A great deal!
The suite was much larger than I expected, with a fully equipped kitchen. For someone who did not have a budget to eat every meal in a restaurant, the ability to prepare something in the room was a plus. All rooms were clean and comfortable.Nice location in an area where walking is quite enjoyable. Several families with pets and children were staying there, which matched well the strengths of the hotel.
