Car Rental

There are a number of rental car agencies located in the Ground Transportation area of the terminal. Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty all have counters at the airport. Rental car is the best option for tourists who plan to do some sight seeing. They can also come in handy for those who need to head from one airport to another because the rental cars can be dropped off at a different location.

Public/Ground Transfer

STA (Spokane Transit Authority) provides regular bus service from the airport to downtown Spokane. Bus #64 leaves the airport every hour and takes approximately thirty minutes to arrive at the Plaza in downtown Spokane. The ride is $1 for anyone between the ages of 6 and 64. Those older than 64 pay half price.

Airport Shuttles

A number of companies provide shuttle service between Spokane International Airport and a number of regions from downtown Spokane to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Rates are determined by the final destination. Companies include All-Ways Transportation (Clarkston and Pullman, Washington), Northwestern Stage Lines (downtown Spokane), Omni Bus (Northern Idaho), Payless Airport Shuttle (Athol, Coeur d'Alene, Hayden Lake, Post Falls, and Rathdrum Idaho), Stars and Stripes (Air Force Base), and Wheatland Express (Moscow, Idaho and Pullman, Washington).

Limousine Services

Limousine service is more expensive, but extremely elegant and comfortable. A Little Class offers airport transfers, and customers are welcome to request their line of antique cars when a positive impression is necessary. 1st Class Limousines and A C & E Limousines are also available for airport transfers. Rates generally start at $85 per hour depending on the number of passengers.

Taxi Services

Transx is the only authorized taxi company within the airport. Taxi service is offered 24/7. Their contract ends in 2007, however, so this may be soon changing. There is a taxi desk located outside of the terminal where passengers can arrange taxi rides to the city.
