No staff at the gate and the flights were not posted on the board so we missed our flight. Horrible experience. Be VERY careful flying Norwegian. Super limited ability to communicate with their slim staffing and restricted hours.

Tickets were cheap but it says no where that food was not included, I travel Austrian, Swiss and Turkish airlines all the time always food is included, never flew Norwegian again
Pros: "Staff at Rome was great. Crew was excellent. Plane was magnificent."
Pros: "The last time I purchased a flight with them it was canceled. No previous notice . No solution . They wouldn't even answer the phone ."
Pros: "On a long haul flight, when I bought my ticket, Kayak advertised entertainment on my long haul flights. There was none on this flight! Seata were extremely uncomfortable."

Cons: "Norwegian used an extremely old Wamos A320 aircraft instead of one of their own 787s. The seats were not only uncomfortable, but also so tightly arranged that my knees touched the back of the front seat, and I am an average 6 feet tall. Inflight entertainment options were available only through the Wamos app, which could not be downloaded on the plane (and Norwegian had not mentioned during check in). Unless for people with pre-ordered food, it was not possible to buy even water until about 3 1/2 hours into the flight. The flight to BCN on a Norwegian plane was okay, but the prospect of another such return experience makes it very questionable to book this airline again."

Cons: "due to my seating, i was freezing...i had to buy my own blanket for 5 euros and this was no be more than a sheet!"
Pros: "The first of a 2-leg trip (Krabi-Oslo) went great. Boarding was orderly and timely, left pretty much on time. Seats were surprisingly comfortable and roomy."
Cons: "The second leg (Oslo-JFK) however was a completely different story. The airline dropped the ball in so many ways here. 45 minutes past departure time and they are still boarding people. This was mostly do to the gate agents arbitrarily forcing people to needlessly check bags that would have been fine on board (while simultaneously forcing them to pay for checking thos bags, unbelievable money-grab on the part of the airline). Flight crew made no announcements whatsoever on the delay until 30 minutes past departure time. As an obvious result, bags then took a tremendous amount of time to arrive at claim."

Cons: "Wifi was so slow i gave up on it and just watched a movie. I flew 10 hours, nothing complimentary. Greedy"
Cons: "This was my first trip to Europe and I was a bit nervous about the experience, I've been on plenty of planes, however, about nothing like this. Norwegian Airlines is the worst experience I have ever had on a plane or any mode of transportation. We were running to the terminal because they only announced that they had last call,and we were eating. When we got there, they pulled my fiancee aside to weigh her bags (mind you this is about 5 mins before the plane is about the leave). I'm waiting inside of the airway for her and they spot me and pull me back out to weigh my bag. The guy was shady, he pulled on my bag as it was on the hand scale and said it was 3 kg overweight. I told him it's not, I weighed it myself, so he weighs it again and say "sorry, I meant it is 4kg overweight" he said that it is 15 dollars per kg, unless I want to leave stuff here. I looked at him and he just stared at me until I gave him my credit card. $60!! That's ridiculous, especially considering I bought a hand weight just for this occasion. My fiancee had to pay $90!! And just to top it off, they wouldn't give her passport, she had to ask for it back. Also, if you dont purchase a food plan before hand you have to buy it on the plan. They dont even offer peanuts. This airline will nickel and dime you for everything. Better off with another airline if you are traveling abroad. You'll end up paying the same, but will have better service. Never again will I fly Norwegian"
