Cheap car hire in Berlin offers an economical and efficient way to explore the city. Berlin is a vast city with various attractions and neighbourhoods that are spread out, making public transportation difficult and time consuming. Although the name of the representative slips my mind, I could not have asked for a better experience from the employee at Enterprise. He took the time to connect with me about my trip and ask about me all while completing the transaction in a timely manner.7.6 Good

Pros:
Overall the experience with sixt was nice - the car was totally new and comfortable. Although I received a premium-class car, I reserved SUV, but not sedan that I have received. That was unfortunate and rather unexpected, given the size of luggage and the quality of countryside road I was going to.Cons:
I would prefer a faster reaction - if sixt can't guarantee even the car class, then I would prefer an immediate cancellation. When I hear that my car is not available at the counter - that's already late for last minute changes.2.0 Poor

Cons:
I called to Sixt before coming to office and they proved that the car is ready. When I came to the Sixt office Berlin Tempelhof they didn’t give me the car. Moreover they told me that my account is blocked in their system but it is impossible. I had to wait then sent email to their security system and got this response: “ Dear Mr. Povetkin, In reference to your request, please notice that we decided to do not fulfill the reservation mentioned above and so please accept this decision and refrain from further requests regarding this matter”. This is insane and I had to find rapidly another service, that was Europecar and they gave me a car in 5 minutes. Please consider this for further bookings. BR, Dmitriy10.0 Wonderful

Beware of renting with Budget/Avis outside of the US. I rented a car for the day in Berlin and was charged over $1500 USD in fake damages. The car was checked in in PERFECT condition and they billed my credit card $1523 USD later that day. Sadly, the user reviews about the office in Mitte all indicated the same experience. Wish I had followed the advice to avoid this company, but as a loyal customer, I thought I would be safe. Not this case. I will never use this comany again. To small court claims court we go....9.2 Wonderful
