Hotel Villa Cipressi

The most striking feature that makes the Hotel Villa Cipressi unforgettable is its location on the edge of Lake Como, which offers breathtaking views. The hotel itself is situated in three separate buildings that were primarily built between 1400 and 1800 and had a long history of royal and aristocratic owners until it was taken over by the “People and Friends of Verenna” in 1980. The hotel is surrounded by stunning botanical gardens that feature the biodiversity of plants found throughout Italy. As you meander down the path through the cacti, palm trees, and deciduous vegetation, you will find yourself heading right toward the edge of Lake Como.

The Hotel Villa Cipressi offers three types of guest rooms. You can choose a classic room with a village view, deluxe rooms with a lake view, or prestige rooms with a lake view. All rooms have refined cotton satin sheets detailed with embroidery, a mini bar stocked daily, high-end amenities in the bathroom, and slippers. Prestige rooms are more spacious than deluxe rooms and have a piece or two more furniture. You can also reserve one of the hotel’s five suites, each designed with its own custom look.

The Hotel Villa Cipressi offers the Suite Spa, an intimate wellness area designed for the relaxation and privacy of a couple. Situated at the edge of the botanical garden on the vast terrace of the Hotel Royal Victoria, the Suite Spa is available to all guests for a fee. In this Suite Spa, couples will find a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, relaxing showers, and a relaxing area that combines sensory music, warmth, comfort, relaxing aromas, and lighting designed to help soothe your senses. Bathrobes, slippers, and towels are available for the convenience and comfort of guests.

The Hotel Villa Cipressi offers event space that is both elegant and highly functional. All spaces are provided with a TV screen with a PC connection, a flip chart, a microphone, and a projector with a screen. The Hotel Villa Cipressi can also help you organize a coffee station in the event room or a coffee break in one of the bar areas. The event spaces can all be organized in the styles of banquet, theater, classroom, U-shape, or board. The Pergoloto is a 775 square-foot space, and Stucchi and Volatili are each 538 square-foot spaces.

The Hotel Villa Cipressi does not have a restaurant on site in one of its three old-world buildings, but the Hotel Villa Cipressi offers guests the creations of its chef at two restaurants steps away at the Hotel Royal Victoria, accessed by road or through the Botanical Garden. The Royal Gourmet restaurant offers a lake view, and the Victoria Grill looks out onto the main square of Varenna. Dishes include traditional Lake Como fare as well as international cuisine, homemade pastries, and a wide selection of wine. The Hotel Cipressi offers guests three different bars where they can enjoy a drink and relax. The Bellagio Bar is in the Hotel Royal Victoria, the Garden Bar is at the Hotel Villa Cipressi botanical garden, and the Veranda Bar is in the central building of the Hotel Villa Cipressi.
