10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely perfect! Most insane location, crystal clear blue water and excellent staff! We loved every second!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms, excellent breakfast buffet, beautiful hotel property and very friendly staff.
Cons: Only getting 1 key for the room. If key card was not left in the room AC would not work and room would get very hot. Tour offers at hotel were very overpriced compared to tours offered in town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is remote,beachfront-just beautiful.
Cons: Nothing at all. I actually wanted to stay longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have looked at this hotel for years and we were staying at another hotel that we were not happy with so treated ourselves to 2 nights stay It was paradise Everything I had ever thought it would be We couldn’t of asked for a more perfect couple of days, even with the kids it was a very memorable stay
Cons: Nothing to not like
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The Beach
Cons: Dinner Buffet wasn’t good , seafoods not fresh . Not much options
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious. It was not easy to get in and out of the hotel , especially when very windy weather, but it was an adventure.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was reading a few negative comments and wasn't sure if the property was for me, but after I stayed there I think it's worth every penny! Very clean rooms, big and comfortable, nice beach and the food was great! For me, it was heaven on earth! I can recommend anyone that wants to visit a nice and quiet place to enjoy the sun and be away from the crowd, I would no recommend for party people.
Cons: Randomly some people came with boats on the beach and they ware been load and impudent towards the rest of the residents and no one from the staff came to do anything about it, that's not ok, it is private property and that should not happen.
6.0 Good
Pros: It was a nice quiet location and really loved the village behind the resort that had affordable good food choices. The staff were really helpful and nice. Good breakfast choices.
Cons: The price the food and drinks were far more expensive than we thought they should be.
7.0 Good
Pros: The beautiful villas and the huge pool.
Cons: Yes. Expect to pay western prices or more. Surprising as it is owned by Singha Brewery. Not enough choices in beers. The restaurants were not busy because of the very high prices on food and drinks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beach front hotel with amaizing pool. Continental Breakfast with several options. My Family really enjoyed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Phi Phi Island Village is exceptional! The staff, the facilities, the food, the trip and entertainment options are all 10/10. Nicest resort We’ve ever seen. Highly recommended!
4.0 Okay
Pros: During the high tide, the beach is beautiful.
Cons: Many things: staff seem pretty unhappy. Half of the day, the sea water disappears and is replaced with mud due to low tide. The village next to the hotel is literally two small streets with 2-3 restaurants total.

Pros: Location, grounds, staff all excellent.
Cons: Shower had a little mold
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was superb, beautiful white beach with turquoise waters. Nice, Sandy, clear waters in cordoned off area. Staff very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful Can walk to other bars and restaurants
Cons: Happy hour could be slightly later and for longer Sun beds need to be maintained better and could do with a pad as hard plastic and uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. Not enough of them either which is a shame - Needs to be a member of staff to monitor the beach chairs etc
8.8 Excellent

Cons: Nothing

8.0 Excellent
Pros: - The beach is beautiful (best beach in Koh Phi Phi) - The staff is very friendly - Live music in the evening - Sunset Bar is amazing (perfect view) - Many nice restaurants at the beach
Cons: -Rooms/Bungalows are dated, need to become renovated - Water in bath is sometimes a bit smelly - Prices for dinner-buffet are way too expansive - Breakfast at Sunset Restaurant needs defintely more selection (eg. Pancakes)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great manager Mr. Pong and your staff.
9.0 Excellent

Cons: A lot of mosquitos around the bungalow. No possibility to open the windows, cause of lacking mosquito net, No cleaning under the bed.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The place is magical and clearly exceeded our expectations! Stunning beach with coral reefs where to snorkel, excellent cocktails and pure loneliness on a supposedly overcrowded island.. in a word: luxury!
Cons: The food at the restaurant was rather pricey (and without alternative unless if taking a boat) but good
7.0 Good
Pros: Ahh having a beach in front of you with Coral to view and swim round and a mini mountain behind to hike if wanted! who could not want to live this life! it is a once in a life time experience. Amazing views, sounds, rooms, food and drink! The only fault is the majority of the Staff's attitude...
Cons: The bar had one staff on duty every day, serving the restaurant's customers as well as the bar people it got frustrating when they had large cocktail orders from the restaurant's, and we would sit waiting longer than wanted waiting to be served. (in normal circumstances we would leave - but there is only one bar). The Staff also found to be unwelcoming and sometimes can even say they are rude.. We found 90% of the staff to have really bad attitudes, even had one shout at us, because the time we booked for the massages had been inconvenient to her. (even though that is the time shown available on the booking schedule..)
6.7 Good
Pros: Lovely location. Amazing food. Very basic rooms and very very hot but this is to be expected of this type of accommodation
Cons: Bathroom/ heat
7.0 Good
Cons: The bungalow was very small for a couple
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Little taste of paradise. Secluded beach resort only accessed by boat. Very relaxing. Restaurant food is good.
7.5 Good
Pros: We stayed 10 days here. Really relaxing, good food and peaceful environment.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: View was good from room
Cons: The man in-charge of running resort was very rude, we had booked on top sea view room, but the room he gave us had only partial sea view, two big trees blocked the view, when we asked him to change the rooms he got very rude and aggressive. And made us unwanted and uncomfortable from the starting and ruining our experience.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room has very nice sea view located in the middle of mountain. Every morning I saw it from my bed and it made me so happy. The restaurant has various food menu and you won’t get bored of it. Beach is really really relaxing... I really loved it.
Cons: Not so much... just one thing sometimes monkey appears and be careful.
Phuphaya Seaview Resort - Ko Phi Phi - Bedroom
4
6.8 Good (904 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Phuphaya Seaview Resort in Ko Phi Phi, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Tonsai Pier and Ao Ton Sai Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The views were beautiful, the rooms were quaint and cozy. We stayed in the standard bungalow for 3 nights and loved the place so much we stayed for 2 more and got upgraded to the deluxe.
Cons: I was worried about some bad reviews I read but they were all misleading! Yes it's a steep climb to get their but the view was amazing. The only bad thing was the noise from the beach parties (stops at 1AM).
6.0 Good
Pros: The location had some beautiful views over the beach and sea. The pool was popular with residents and looked clean, though I did not use it myself. The majority of the buildings and landscaping looked well-kept and clean.
Cons: Breakfast was not included, to my knowledge. The venue is quite a distance from the main areas and up a steep hill which would be unsuitable for visitors with limited mobility. The resort itself is also built on the side of a steep hill with hard concrete paths to navigate up and down the resort.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Vier and room OK during day
Cons: Noisy as hell at night
5.4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast included, they carry your luggage from/to the pier. Walking distance from town and bar, resto. Nice view, cheaper kayak, accept credit card with 5%
Cons: It's uphill so it's exhausting to get there but it's not that bad. Our room (D1) had an awfull smell coming from the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good place for couples... Calm and peaceful place
Cons: Accessibility...
1.0 Poor
Pros: The view from the pool
Cons: Firstly, the room we received was nothing as it appeared on the website. It was very dirty, dark and dingy, there wasn’t a window you could open, you wasn’t allowed to bring bug spray to the room however there are warning signs everywhere that they had many mosquitoes around, we ended up with over 20 bites on each leg on the first night. our door was locked by a padlock which never fully closed properly and the staff weren’t very friendly or helpful. I don’t think the pool had been cleaned at all the whole stay, it was filthy green. The hygiene was appalling, my friend got food poisoning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best pool view ever
3.6 Mediocre
Cons: The location was very poor, it was atop one of the steepest hills on the island relatively far away from the town. The beach only exists for a few hours a day during low tide. When it is high tide the beach completely disappears under the water, which goes all the way up to jagged rocks. Staff were relatively unhelpful and mislead us on prices of outings, which ended up being about 1,000 TBH more than advertised.

7.9 Good
Pros: Great location and lovely staff - room had fridge, safe and tv which were great. Slightly out of the centre (5 min walk) but was great for some peace and quiet. Use of limited sun beds on the beach straight outside and we never had a problem getting one.
Cons: Slight smell of sewers was in the bathroom whilst we were there (couldn’t smell it if the bathroom door was shut) and the mattress was very hard to sleep on.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: There’s cats around
Cons: The room and washroom was very smelly No hangers Sockets were not working Doesn’t match what the photos suggest
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful Bw
Cons: Beds way to hard. Bathroom smells and shower drains all over the floor and toilet. The A/C was useless, they upgraded us but then charged extra when we extended our stay
6.0 Good
Pros: Perfect location and that's it.
Cons: Room didn't meet my expectations for that money. It very old and not clean.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is great, they offer free towels and chairs in the beach and the front desk was friendly and helpful. They bring your luggage to the Pier on the check-out date, which is very convenient. It is very quiet and we could not hear anything from the parties in the beach, however one can reach the "center" in 10 minutes or less walking.
Cons: The bathroom could be a bit better, for example, they could make a division between shower and vase. I had the impression that the air conditioning was always set to a fixed temperature, although one could, in theory, chose the temperature (this was not a problem though).
Phi Phi Arboreal Resort - Ko Phi Phi - Building

7.5 Good (779 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Ko Phi Phi, Phi Phi Arboreal Resort is by the ocean, within a 15-minute walk of Loh Dalam Bay and Ton Sai Bay. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
6.0 Good
Pros: View from a room with sea view had nice view
Cons: I have to admit very strongly, that the smell ooyside the room with garden view was terrible! We could not stay in terrace at all, some people even puke because of that... There are many steps uphill, that brings good views to the island, but you have to take it or not book this hotel at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: That it is in a great location
Cons: The breakfast
7.9 Good
Pros: Views from the balcony are amazing, clean comfy rooms and friendly staff
Cons: It was a bit noisy, rooms above and next door
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Phi Phi island can be an expensive island for accommodation, but this place is fantastic value for money. The staff are excellent, the view is stunning and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Sure, the steps are a challenge, but manageable (especially as they cheerfully assist you with your luggage to and from the pier), and totally worth it for the best view on the island. This was our third trip to Phi Phi and from now on we will always stay here.
Cons: Cleaners were a bit noisy in the mornings, but responded well to our request to quieten down.
7.0 Good
Pros: Superior Twin room; clean and comfortable, good AC, good view
Cons: No Wifi in the rooms, only in the public open area, so no AC there either
7.0 Good
Pros: The view from room's balcony was beautiful and the location quite near viewpoint.
Cons: We had to go up the stairs to our room. It was so tired especially when we just came back from trips around the island.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights after initially only booking for 2. The rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful. When we arrived at the pier there was a member of staff waiting for us ready to take our bags. They then also carried them up the steps where we could check in. This was greatly appreciated!! The views are amazing. We were so high up we didn’t feel the need to go to the viewpoint.
Cons: The property is on the hill on the way up to the viewpoint which we weren’t expecting. Every time we left our room we had 191 steps to go down and then come back up which was hard work in the heat!! Our patio door was a bit hard to close, we didn’t realise it wasn’t closed fully one night which resulted in a mosquito frenzy!!!!! We only made that mistake once!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view, comfortable beds and nice staff. They were very helpful, carried our luggages up and down to the hill
Cons: There are many steps to the room , but totally worth it
7.1 Good
Pros: one of the highest hotels on the island so the view is amazing!! with that being said if you're looking for a 5 star hotel this is not it. the staff was friendly and quick to fix any problems we had and the AC was extremely cold which is needed in that weather
Cons: the rooms needed to be updated and the bed was uncomfortable, even though we requested 1 big bed they gave us a room with 2 bed pushed together. there is no wifi in the rooms only the lobby
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The stairs aren't as bad as people make out unless you have loads of luggage we quite enjoyed the workout. View on the balcony was amazing so worth climbing the stairs everyday.
Cons: They close off a gate after 9pm and it gets confusing how to find your room, especially when drunk.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: On top of the hills gazebo rooms. Far away from the crowds, but yet close enough. Everything was good, including the staff
Cons: More information on how to get to the city and back . Because it’s a little distant. But very friendly and beautiful location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Best hotel in Phi-Phi, probably in Thai..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect: far from the noisy town, but close enough if you need some fun times. The beach is the best on the island, with umbrellas and sun loungers. The villa is spacey, the view fro the terrace is incredible, like in a Bond movie.
Cons: The Internet was bad. We lived in the furthest from the reception villa and the connection was very patchy. The restaurant was seriously overpriced: the grilled fish costed 800 bats, while in the closest restaurant they asked only 350-400 for the same grilled fish.
6.7 Good
Pros: Amazing beach, nice restaurant however very expensive for no reason.
Cons: Bathroom smelled, WiFi terrible. Restaurant and drinks overpriced. Restaurants next to the hotel offering things half price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, breakfast was very good, transportation to and from Resort by boat was very well organized and staff was helpful. Plenty of launchers on the beach. Comfortable bed in the room, beautiful manicured landscape setting of the resort
Cons: Name of the room "luxury villa" is overrated. It has nothing to do with luxury and nothing to do with villa. It is old rustic cozy bungalow (cottage) with disaster bathroom without toilet paper holder, towel bars and dated furniture, wifi very poor and s
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were great (great view) and clean, right on the beach at the end of long beach which is beautiful. Staff in restaurant excellent.
Cons: Staff in beach bar quite rude
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent view from room
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: From the minute we arrived the staff was very rude and blunt to me and my partner. My boyfriend and I took the walk way from the hotel to the pier and took the wrong turn as there wasn’t signs and ended up at the top of the forest with a man trying to rob us. We called the hotel but they diddnt help which I found disgusting. I would recommend staying closer to the pier.
6.0 Good
Pros: We needed to change room as there was no shade at all around the bungalow, so we were sitting under a hot roof, like in an oven. But the point is that, the staff was so kind and flexible, they provided us two other bungalow to choose from it. So finally we settled in a great one, with a nice view and a much lower location  as the bungalows are in the side of the hill, so you need to climb) They help you to bring up and down your luggage but during your stay, you need to climb. So let's get start bikini-body exercises right now and you do not have any problem! :) Oh, you get a complimentary water, coke, juice and chips fill up every day in your fridge. Nice gesture.  Sunset were beautiful form therem and the beach was very good. Hope they change the plastic sunbeds, but that is all the thing. Everything else were so nice. If you like to be far from the tourist hoards and the party-life, this is your place. And if you change your mind, you can go to the main beach by boat. It is just 10 min from there.  There is a great massage salon next to the hotel. They were great, try it! I had a full body oil massage. No thai massage, sorry. :)
Cons: We were on half board. Buffet breakfast. Food and drinks: selection was okay, but the the quality of the meals were poor unfortunately. Just black tea, and it was pre prepared so it was very bitter. Fruits were save the day! :)
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was very central to everything
Cons: The actual room was subpar
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location of room was a 10 minute walk up-hill. It poured rain, and with my bad knee, had difficulty getting to the room. Asked to be moved, but was told acloser room would cost extra $102 US/nt. Chose to leave after 1 night. Hotel would not refund 2nd nt.
Cons: -Long black hairs in shower upon arrival See above.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Long beach is simply beautiful and the hotel is perfectly located at the end of the beach. The hotel has 2 pools and a good restaurant by the sea with great view and super helpful staff. The room had a great sea view and all the amenities we needed. Good shower and large bed facing the ocean. We just loved koh phi phi and the hotel experience :)
Cons: The hotel could have free boat service to Tonsai beach more often. Although there is a taxi boat service available day and night for 100 baht

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I visited the place for some relaxing time and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff is great. There is a gentleman at the restaurant who helped us with the right info and was very welcoming. The rooms and clean and it’s located right in front of the beach. The food was tasty and reasonable compared to the other places. Breakfast had a good spread. Location is quiet and that’s the USP of the place.
Cons: Our bathroom kept clogging and the room felt a little worn out.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Lack of chairs with umbrellas on the beach. Lack of fans in the restaurant. The light in the bathroom was too low.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location very close to the sea, clean beach and good restaurant
Cons: WiFi Internet was very poor - low speed and periodically restart the connectivity
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We booked a villa on the beach which was fantastic. Great views as we woke up in the morning and beautiful setting as night drew in. The staff were fantastic and the little restaurant had some great food.
Cons: Be aware the taxi long tail boats can be very noisy late into the evening however they are essential to get to and from the property and they do provide an excellent service!

6.3 Good
Pros: The pool area as well as the spot for breakfast were nice.
Cons: Bungalows aren’t what I was expecting especially as it was not shown in the photos when booking. Our bathroom stank the minute we walked in. Had one plug and it was so high on the wall. Air conditioner started dripping.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location close to everything. New rooms, very clean. Great friendly staff. Beautiful swimming pool.
Cons: Bed was a bit hard. Breakfast was a choice of 2 every day. No sea view.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool is nice.
Cons: We were expecting to have a balcony, but our room was in the ground floor so, we only had a place with no separation to the pool. It's a bit far from the beach and the center.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location was great, not far from the main roads and the party area, but really quiet.
Cons: 1) The room didn’t look clean at all 2) they never cleaned the room during our stay and you ha to ask for everything (toilet paper!) 3) they do not specify that if you pay by card you will be charged 3% more! 4) the staff was really rude almost all the time 5) the breakfast was poor and not even that good 6) we payed too much for a place like this, it’s not worth the money
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, Good location ,friendly staff.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nothing special just not in the crowd street area and close to mosque ,Muslim owner
Cons: Place a bit old and seem filled with Russian drunk tourist that jumping the pool at 2 AM and staff can’t do anything avoid Russian Tourist group
1.0 Poor
Pros: Pool and gardens
Cons: Dirty room with blood on the wall and damp. Very scruffy holes in bedding. Bathroom filthy and no proper shower. No mirror in bathroom or wardrobe in bedroom. Very cramped and dated. Would give a one star at a push.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The cats hanging there are nice
Cons: ATTENTION THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE! STAY AWAY!!! I "lost"a couple of earrings just before leaving this place. I'm sure they are stolen. I don't think is a coincidence that they disappear in the morning of the day I had to leave. The staff knows when you are leaving. When you arrive they make you sign a paper saying that they have no responsibility for the belongings you leave in your room that you should leave them to the reception. But of course you can't go back and forward to give your stuff especially if is jewellery. I immediately wrote an email to ask if they found the earrings and I never got an answer. Immagine why! The bungalows are really old and the door looks really easy to break and to open. No place to put your things just a small shelf. Other than that they are really dirty. As I stepped in there was already sand in the floor and the sink was dirty. They were never cleaned. What they do is only changing the bed sheets that are dirty and stained anyway and the towels. That's it. No cleaning. Yes is far away from the crowd and the music but there are cocks in the morning that will wake up and the curtains don't cover the light so you need to cover your eyes. It was a horrible stay I'll never suggest it.

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Heavy construction, cramped room, no room view, hard bed, no room phone, cash deposit required at check in.

Pros: We had an amazing sea view
Cons: The rooms were a little dated
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Staff is friendly, attentive and appears sympathetic. The pool is nice and has a great view. Most "sea view" bungalows (deluxe rooms) have very nice views.
Cons: Booked 4 nights, but left after only 2 nights since we couldn't take it anymore. The noise is unbearable. Near the entrance are the newest bungalows (called deluxe rooms, mostly with sea+beach view), which are relatively modern and nice. Higher up the hill are the significantly older bungalows (also ironically called "deluxe" rooms, mostly with sea view), which are definitely not "deluxe" in any way except the view. You can absolutely forget about sleeping before 1:30 in the lower/newer bungalows. The noise from the beach clubs is extreme due to direct line-of-sight/sound. We switched to a hut higher up the hill after only 1 night. The highest bungalows are a bit better for noise due to increased distance, but because they are so old and dilapidated you will still hear a lot. Sound isolation is absolutely non-existent in the older bungalows. The doors and windows have large gaps, the walls a paper thin, some windows don't have any glass, etc. The first bungalow we tried after deciding to switch had one of the noisiest aircos I've ever heard (clearly not maintained well), so we had to switch again. This third hut was absolutely dirty. Candle wax(?) everywhere and an absolutely extreme mildew problem in the bathroom cupboards. But exhaustion got the better of us, so we decided to take it. It had to be the least luxurious "deluxe" room I've ever seen. No closet, very harsh lighting, a single power outlet, the creakiest bed ever, etc. To top off your stay, you might get "lucky" and get very loud (drunk yelling and singing) neighbors in the other bungalows, which will continue the noise well after 3:00, since security won't do anything unless you walk all the way down the hill to reception (there are no phones in the rooms) and ask them to intervene. Breakfast is minimal, cheap and bland, don't bother.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Even if the description was only mentioning garden view, the room had sea view. The location offered to us included breakfast offer at the same price of standard room with no breakfast. Room was cleaned daily. Very quiet area. At the moment of leaving the location, they offered us free luggage transportation to pier. 24 hours reception service. There is a pool at the location with clean water and nice sea view.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location is not good, bad smell also require charge 3% for credit card payment
Cons: bad smell in the area around. The beach in front coul not swim as too dirty
7.0 Good
Pros: the bunglows were spacious, clean and had a terrace with a wonderful view (front row bungalow). the location has its up- and downside. you dont need climbing steps and its close to the main town center with restaurants, night life, the pier and dive shops. the downside is the really loud music from the close beach bars up till 2 a.m. nice pool with a view. the breakfast is quite basic, but for the price ok, if you have it included. recieved fresh towels& water every day.
Cons: the loud music from the close bars at the beach, very loud till 2 a.m. wifi only works reliably in the pool/lobby area. shower only produces really hot water.
6.0 Good
Pros: The property was amazing
Cons: The internet was terrible, was not able to check in my flight.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: -The lady at the reception was very friendly. She let us leave our luggages after checking out. -Breakfast was good. -nice swimming pool overlooking the sea - After staying there I can easily imagine how hell must look like.
Cons: During our visit in Thailand we've stayed in different budget hotels but this one was the worst ! It looks like the place where they create horror movies scenarios. It was super dirty and just gross. Seriously don't stay there... unless you hate your life and you want to make it more miserable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything the room was great and in a great location on the beach
5.0 Okay
Pros: This hotel was ok and that's it..room ok.pool crap, think first time ever I've not used a hotel pool.hotel just generally uninspiring, really uninspiring.
Cons: Basic.tired.thought by booking at the end of the beach would stop people passing through, but no they run the day trips right through the hotel to see the monkeys ,I mean it's likes all day big crowds hovering around hotel.hotel also used to feed the tourists day trippers.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, bright and airy, stunning views a few steps from beach, peaceful end of the island but ten mins walk along beach promenade to hussle and bustle of bars and restaurants.
Cons: The plunge pool in front of the room appeared to be stagnant and giving off an unpleasant odour, this put us off sitting on Balcony in front of room. It’s a shame and could be easily remedied but staff didn’t seem bothered about the smell.
7.1 Good
Pros: The Cliff Beach Resort is beautifully located at the quieter end of town. That said you can still hear the party from Slinky’s Bar, but I think that is across the whole island. The family room is enormous, however there is no balcony so it’s difficult to get bathers and towels dry. The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful post our checkout, providing towels, water and sunscreen so that we could still make use of the beach.
Cons: The pool. It looks amazing, but sadly it is not maintained. Most of the tiles in the pool are missing their grout, so it’s pretty unpleasant under foot. There are rusty bottle tops and ring pulls from cans in the infinity pool edge. The pool furniture is broken and seat covers are torn with exposed stuffing. Again, amazing location, but let down by maintenance.
6.0 Good
Cons: Phi phi is a beautiful place but the mosquitoes had a field day
7.1 Good
Pros: On the beach location, good breakfast. Luggage service to pier top quality
Cons: Expensive for a 3* hotel. Pool very cold after 3:30 when the sun goes over the mountain.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely big room. Beautiful view and pool.
Cons: Nothing. Loved everything about it.
7.0 Good
Pros: The view from the room was terrific and the pool was clean with good views over the bay. Rooms are spacious with good air conditioning and a great rainfall shower. The room had two wardrobes which was helpful in keeping the room tidy. The hotel is at the quiet end of the resort and so you can sleep even when full moon parties are in full swing.
Cons: There is very little information about the hotel. In the rooms the only information is about the rules and how much things cost if they go missing - there was no advice on local attractions or tips on where to eat etc. There is a TV in the room but the signal isn’t great and only one English speaking channel - there are no instructions re the TV. The hotel is quite a distance from the main town (good 10 minute walk) and it is not licensed - no bar in the hotel and the nearest store selling alcohol is quite a walk. If you want to party then this is definitely not the hotel for you!
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice location at Ton Sai Beach...! Big, comfortable rooms...! Transfer was ok.
Cons: Beach isn‘t usable; at 11AM, Speed Boats and tons of Tourists are flooding the beach. Beach Chairs should be reserved for Hotel Guests only: didn‘t worked...!

Pros: I really loved the view, from the location you will be able to enjoy a nice sunset every night from your bed. The room were super clean and the cleaner came every day. You will have a taxi boat service from the hotel which will drop you in town. There is a schedule for it other ways you will be charge 100 bath for one way. Witch is cheap. The host is very kind and helpful. She mad our stay very pleasant. Many Thanks to Sunwaree !
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: At first glance the bungalows in the resort's sunware look nice and you expect nice accommodation, but this is not the case. Starting eight o'clock, the daily thumping of the bass from the opposite beach begins, which sometimes takes until 3 in the morning, while the whole bungalow shakes. If you make it till the morning, expecting a rich breakfast, as written in the reviews, but another mistake - breakfast every day the same, you get two eggs and a toast, two slices of pineapple, plus coffee or tea in micro cups - NOTHING MORE !! The landlady pleasant at most greetings, otherwise arrogant and unwilling lady. Wifi, which worked the first day even in the room, was out of order for the rest of the days and no one was able to repair it. To conclude, I would never recommend this accommodation to anyone! I will require compensation ...
6.0 Good
Pros: Slendid piece of nature.
Cons: The reception is not to be trusted. The boat man has no idea what they promise, does not pick up the phone and does not understand English. They kicked us out in a pouring rain the last morning saying that big waves were coming - we killed a beautiful day waiting for connection in Phi-Phi drenched with our big suitcases. No sleep at all due to the loud disco echoing from Phi-Phi. There was a mouse in our bedrom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room and complex was incredible!
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location. Good staff good privacy
Cons: Loud at night from bars on main beach But I knew this already
4.2 Okay
Pros: Great view from the room.
Cons: There was a mouse in our room and several types of insects and small lyzards. The water of the shower was cold. There was a very difficult path to get there from the town (irregular and mostly through the jungle). The hotel provides a free boat service to go to the town and go Back to the hotel, but there are very few boats per day. The service is free only if you take a secheduled boat (between 8h15 and 17h). If you want another time, you have to pay 100thb per person, per way. Overall it was a bad experience and we left before the check out date.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It´s a piece of paradise! In the evening little bit disturbed by the party from the other side of the bay, but we didn’t mind. We had a cottage in the first row, so the view from our bed was gorgeous! We also rented a kayak for a reasonable price. The staff was kind and helpful. Thank you!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Sunwaree is the last resort on western part of the island - further is only jungle. The easiest way to get to the resort is by complimentary long tail boat transfer through very nice bay. The location is paradise - although there is not good access to water from the beach, the view from the bungalow is stunning, just make sure that you book sea view bungalow. Bungalow was very cute furnished, however it needs better upkeep. The owner is very nice and will make your stay as pleasant as possible. Owner can rent you kayak. There is not much to do in the resort, but if you come to relax, this is the right spot for you.
Cons: The road to the city is a bit tricky and adventurous, especially in night. If this is problem, you have to rely on the longtail ship transfer, which is complimentary few times per day. The music from beach bars is super loud till late night, its as if you were right next to club, although the resort is more then 1.5 km far away! If you are a hard sleeper (as we were), you will sleep like the baby anyway, but if you are light sleeper, be prepared for this!!! Bring in ear plugs and you should be fine. There was cockroach in the bungalow. The breakfast gets bit repetitive if you stay more then 2 nights but the owner was flexible and changed the breakfast a bit.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nice view and a boat can take you from the pier to the resort (but that's the case for almost every hotel in koh Phi Phi).
Cons: The owner tried to make us pay more for a kayak. She said we did 2h30 instead of 2. She always tries to push to get more money even if it's dishonnest. Moreover we found lots of cockroach in the bungalow... Bad experience. Would not recommend.

Cons: Room next to busy thoroughfare with loud drunken tourists keeping us awake most of the night. Breakfast was so disappointing! Cold food which at the time we got there should have been piping hot , plus we were plagued with nasty biting flies so left early to escape them. No signage to indicate pool or dining area.

Pros: We loved our stay here in Phi Phi. It was a great location, with lovely, modern & clean facilities. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: The only downside to this hotel was the amount of sun loungers by the gorgeous pool! There is definitely space for more people to enjoy it :)
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was good, nice pool
Cons: Beds were so hard and uncomfortable couldn’t sleep.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Conveniently located
7.0 Good
Pros: Overall hotel was lovely pool was lovely but about 6 broken sunbeds and they only had about 20 which I feel let the hotel and the pool atmosphere down. The bell boy was amazing can't remember his name but so thorough showing you the room took us to the pier and helped with our speedboat tickets he was tall and slim about 19 very good at his job hope the management read these reviews.
Cons: Breakfast was the worst we have had all cold everything left open and flys were all over it. Rooms were over priced and lots of noise fro. People coming home I understand that is not the hotels fault but could put up signs saying please keep quiet or fine ect which we have soon lots and seem to work.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, walking distance from the pier. The long beach is 100 bahts/person by longtail boat, or 40 minutes walk (20 minutes jungle). Its close to the "city" with great restaurants and bars! Room is well equipped, pool is great!
Cons: -

Pros: Good clean room with a beautiful sea view from the balcony. Right in the middle of loads of restaurants, shops and bars but really quite at night for sleeping.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't great and the restaurant wasn't very clean.
5.1 Okay
Pros: The location and the room was decent. The new Reception area is nice. Once complete it will be a good hotel.
Cons: Booked on a non refundable rate and only informed a few weeks before we tRavelled that the hotel was under construction and that there was no pool. Very disappointed. Breakfast felt unclean, no covers on the fruit and bread despite there being flies around.

Cons: The hill to the rooms is a little steep but not terrible especially if you're young. The staff with drive you to your room with your luggage when you arrive and dive down your luggage when you leave.

Pros: View was nice from our room. Breakfast was ok, not much choice but eggs and juice were good
Cons: Location! Right at the stop of the hill a long walk and hard walk in the heat. Very dark at night. Room very basic and very noisy at night. Pool very small always crowded and not many sun loungers
4.6 Okay
Pros: It was an amazing view of the ocean and you could sit in the pool and see the overlook.
Cons: It was quite a walk up the island with passing a lot of crappy stores and open sewage and garbage was super smelly. The Whole side of this island was awake until 1am with the worst music from Bars and partying all night! If you are a family and want a nice quiet place to stay DO NOT STAY on this side of the island...it is dirty stinky and noisy!
1.0 Poor
Cons: I'm very disappointed.Very unauthorized accommodation!Young guests without respect for other guests.Disco in 1am and 5am abnormal noise.Alcohol-related were deaf and jumped into the pool and did not respect the other guests' warnings!I am very disappointed with my stay in this bungalow.I do not recommend this accommodation to anyone! 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Magnificent location with infinity pool Delicious food
Cons: A little far from the pier
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place is in an amazing part of the beach is a little bit of a walk from the port but all worth it. The food is not so great, breakfast is good loots of variety. There are plenty of restaurants around.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: View from swimming pool
Cons: Room, very bad Maintenance of the room and the swimmingpool. Not a normal stair in the swimming pool and the screws came out of the floor.
7.1 Good
Pros: It was very secluded and quiet even though it was extremely close to Loh Dalum. Loved the sunset deck and the pool!
Cons: The lack of room service for the price of it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing! The best thing! The breakfast was good, location is close to the main points. The bungalow was cute. They had a person to help bring the luggage from the pier.
Cons: The bathroom is in lower standard than the rest of the hotel. There were no place to hang the towels and there was a mark on the toilet that couldn't be removed by cleaning.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was good and in a nice area overlooking the bay.
Cons: The pictures are misleading. The beds are uncomfortable. It really is not "beachfront." You can't really walk to the beach from the facilities. There is no sandy area where you can lounge or lay on. The bathrooms are not the cleanest. Would not recommend.
7.1 Good
Pros: I liked the view from the pool. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable.
Cons: Because it's on the bay, the music from the party beach carries really well and makes it very loud at night. You would think that because it is so far away from town it would be quite but that's not the case. If you're not planning to stay up until 1am, choose a different place. Even though the PP Charlie was closer to the beach, it was actually much quieter at night. IF the price had been lower for the Cobble Beach, I would have found the walk and the noise ok.
