Seychelles

Most travellers will have to provide a negative COVID-19 test result to enter Seychelles, but it’s worth the effort to reach this island paradise. Nestled amongst the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, this remote 115-island archipelago is renowned for its untouched beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and UNESCO-listed nature reserves.

With 75% of its population already vaccinated, it’s easy to escape reality at this tropical oasis. Like stepping into a picture-perfect desktop background, it has the perfect combination of endless white-sand beaches, swaying palms, and luxury oceanfront resorts. Your only neighbour on the crowd-free sands is the large resident tortoises.

Malta

With 81% of its population already vaccinated, Malta is an ideal country to visit right now. Best of all, fully-vaccinated travellers from many European countries can enter Malta without restrictions. This tiny island nation gets more than 300 days of sun per year, and you can take advantage of its perfect weather by day-tripping to the pristine beaches of nearby Gozo island.

Alternatively, opt for a dip in the famous Blue Lagoon, stroll the waterfront in the capital city of Valletta, or explore the enchanting UNESCO-listed streets and historic palaces in Mdina.

Dominican Republic

With over 55% of its population already vaccinated, most European travellers can visit the Dominican Republic without restrictions.
