The Embassy Suites Birmingham Hoover is a full-service upscale all-suite hotel located just minutes from many attractions in Birmingham and Hoover Alabama. Some of the more popular attractions are the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport/Birmingham Civil Rights Institute/Protective Stadium/CocaCola Ampitheatre/Talladega Superspeedway and the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Guests of the Embassy Suites Birmingham Hoover hotel stay in our spacious two-room suites/enjoy our nightly Managers Reception and receive complimentary breakfast buffet with cooked-to-order omelets. High speed wireless internet access is available in all guest suites and throughout the hotel and atrium. The Embassy Suites Birmingham Hoover hotel features 15000 square feet of beautiful meeting space hosted with our own catering and culinary staff. Our hotel underwent a full renovation in 2025 completing all guest suites-public areas and meeting space.

Pros (+) We liked the location to The Finley Center. We were there for a volleyball Tournament, and will be back again in several weeks for another. The beds were very comfortable.
Cons (-) The lobby bar area was under construction, so I understand the area was a construction site. Also, there were several members in our group that had issues with the elevator noise in their rooms. They stated that there was a loud banging all night long.

Pros (+) Hotel was quiet even though it was completely booked the night we stayed (the night of the Alabama/UK football game). The beds were extremely comfortable. Very friendly staff. Our room was very clean.
Cons (-) The cleanliness in other, common parts of the hotel (hallways, elevators, etc.) could have been cleaner. However, our room was extremely clean. In regards to the common areas being dirty, I should point out that the hotel was completely booked and that perhaps the staff just couldn't keep up that evening. I imagine it was cleaned after checkout Sunday morning.
