Pros:If it weren't for the location, view, and staff, I would have felt ripped off. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Bodega Bay. Our room had a balcony with an ocean view. The staff was extremely friendly.
Cons:The rooms simply need to be updated. Everything in the room was either old and/or visibly dirty. The pillow cases were not clean. The ironing board was filthy. Dry rot visible in the bathroom. The sliding glass door needed lots of muscle and patience to open. The smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag? If it weren't for the location, view, and friendly staff, I'd be pissed paying $200/night of this place. Come on owners, invest on improvements. P.S.--I also believe that each room is required to have an evacuation map and maximum daily rated posted which this room did not.

Pros:Hair in the shower and dirty carpets. Hair dryer didn't work because it was clogged with hair. Staff never asked upon checkout how our stay was

Cons:Dirty rooms Rooms have torn carpet, stained sheets, wall paper falling off the wall. The balcony on the room had standing water, sliding door was hard to open and close. No screen door. Bathroom had water damage all over. Spiderwebs in the bathroom.

Pros:My wife and I celebrated our 58th wedding anniversary at Bodega Coast Inn and Suites. We were greeted by friendly helpful staff and found to our surprise sparkling cider and chocolates in our room. We had a lovely view of the bay and found their breakfast to be ideal. We also enjoy our balcony view of the bay along with the short distance it was to nearby restaurant and shops. It was a perfect quiet get away just what we wanted.

Pros:Location, comfortable rooms, fridge, microwave, comfortable beds. Old, but comfortable,
Cons:Room 32 has issues with a nasty urine smell coming from the back wall or floor. Management was not aware, hard to believe. Repair will probably be costly. Don't get that room. It is also directly under one of the 2 upper rooms with hardwood floors. Kids were up all night to the sound of occupants moving about. Not worth the high dollar price, but we were last minute bookings.
