The owner was very friendly, stayed up late because your plane landed late, and gave us an extra blanket because we weren’t use to Idaho’s cold weather yet! We loved our stay!

The breakfast was okay, but we had not expected very much since no breakfast was mentioned in our booking. They did have hard boiled eggs, muffins, slices of coffee cake and very good coffee.
Since they did provide some breakfast items; the selection could have included yogurts or fruit along with the other items.

I could not have been more pleased with our stay at Dodge Peak Lodge. Our room was spacious and clean and quiet at night. The staff were friendly, ready to help if needed and knowledgeable about the area. The bed was super comfortable and the sheets were softer than soft. I really liked that there was a decent sized table in the room making eating and socializing more enjoyable than sitting on a bed like in most hotel rooms. There was a small continental breakfast and coffee 24/7. A nice living room type area for relaxing in and watching some TV if you wanted to get out of your room. You definitely get a "staying in a lodge" feel here. The location was perfect for us, just a few minutes to downtown Bonners Ferry. I would not hesitate to recommend Dodge Peak Lodge to everyone I know. Was a phenomenal bang for the buck!
The one and ONLY drawback was there was not an ice machine handy. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of ice, but we would have to ask Dawnell to get it for us. I felt bad about having to ask her for it, but she was happy to get it for us anyway. She always had a smile on her lovely face.

Everything was good, except a little noisy.
Thin walls made it a little noisy in the morning. Also, a cat was hanging around near our door, and meowed several times during the night. Cat was the main issue.
