Cons: I was disappointed that no one was at the KIOSK to return my car. I had had a long trip and was suffering back pain and had to locate the Dollar Car Rental station inside the airport. Thankfully there was someone inside the airport to assist me w/a wheelchair so that I could navigate the long corridors to return my keys and to find my departure date.
Hours of operation would be good information to post on the KIOSK. Thank you for allowing me to mention this.

Pros: Vehicle was a good size. It handled well. Gas usage went well. Liked that the car was not black which would have made the hot day worse. Also like CD player that came with the car.

Pros: Car was great but thought i was getting a full size from the Kayak
Cons: The Kayak website is misleading. I put in a full size but got a special/generic. My fault because I did not closely check my reservation. Cost me an extra $40 to upgrade.

I won't use dollar rental again
Pros: The brakes were bad the car wasn't clean smelled like smoke. When doing a walk around I had to ask the lady to come of her brake to ask her questions.

The Yaris experience
Pros: It turned on, drove, also had heat and air
Cons: No cruise control, I loved driving long hours with that! Also it's one of the smallest cars I've ever had the misfortune of driving. If you ever want to feeling of driving a clown car that is terrible in every way get this car. Not to mention they didn't give us a key fob for this "compact" car. All in all dollar did a fine job, but the car and the issues we had with it really made the driving part of our vacation quite miserable.

Specials can be misleading
Pros: Accepted an offer for a special which supposedly seats 5. Was given a Ford Focus which barely seats 4 and has limited luggage space.
Cons: Felt the car size was misleading. Since this was a one way rental, anything else was going to be a significant up charge
Pros: The car was nice, clean and had nice extras.
Cons: Picking up the car is a slower process then I prefer.

Good car Poor first Impression
Pros: It was easy to add an extra day to the rental and at a reasonable rate. The dropoff person was friendly unlike the pickup.
Cons: The location i picked the car up from closed at 6 but nothing was mentioned on the site about having to arrive before 6 or your car would be given away. I was treated very rudely until another person arrived after me who also had a reservation but was not told they were close or that their car was given away. The manager offered me a smaller car for the same rate and larger car but I would have to pay more! He then partially cleaned up a newly returned car and gave it to me. Very Bad Experience. Did not want to help fix the issue but reluctantly did after I advised I had prepaid for the rental.

Horrible Customer Service
Cons: They didn't have a car for me even though they could see I had reserved a vehichle. I was dropped off so I had to use Uber to take me to the airport. They offered no compensation nor did they even try to see if they coild set me up with something at the airport. Very disappointed in Hertz.

After 5 minutes of driving flat tire light came on
Pros: It was clean and easy to pick up and drop off
Cons: I didn't like that i didn't feel safe driving in the car with low tire pressure in a really bad storm. I had to get out in the pouring rain to air up the tires really late at night. That was not pleasant

Live Roach in the Glove Compartment
Pros: Not much of a line in the airport when picking up the car.
Cons: The live roach in the glove compartment was very off-putting. This isn't Hertz's fault, I don't think, but, the NOLA airport needs better signage for picking up cars when one is coming in from the street, rather than from an airplane.

Cons: The individual at the counter attempted to gouge me with extra cost. I always use Hertz so I waa quickly alerted something was wrong. In addtn there were extra cost added on, such as car being returned at the time stated on the kayak reservation which the agent at the counter attempted to charge extra for. I'm not happy and will likely not use hertz anymore at Tulsa airport

Pros: Van was an excellent vehicle! It was perfect for our needs of moving a few items plus two people across country. Good pickup. WAY better than a moving truck, for example!
Cons: Computers were down, and the guy didn't know what to do-- we had to ASK for manual, which we thought of after him promising they would be up in 20, and this was 30 later! Then he thought he couldn't add additional driver, until we recommended that manual form. Finally, an hour later, we got out of there.

Cons: We ordered a specific size vehicle at least a month before pick-up. When we got there, the vehicle was not available and they needed to search for one so we conveniently had to be "upgraded" for $30 additional dollars per day to the vehicle we had.
No instructions on car features - just given the keys and allowed to leave.

Pros: When I picked up the car I asked for the $39 insurance to be added to my bill. I was asked to sign in three places but not explained what each place was. Shame on me for not looking closely and trusting the agent at the counter. He added the $89 insurance instead. What should have been a $90 bill ended up costing me $203. I called corporate to complain and get a refund and even had a witness but they will do nothing.
Now about the car. It was decent but three different times the ABS light and some other light came on. If you call the emergency number for budget you get eternal hold. So I wasn't sure if I was driving in a safe car.
Overall the car was new and clean but the money thing and the dishonesty of the agent and the unwillingness of corporate to change it has made it so I will never use budget again.

Pros: Good customer service, easy to pick up and drop off the car. Because we got a special "deal" when we reserved through Kayak and then got upgraded, we had great value on this rental.
Cons: As others have mentioned, it would be helpful to have a quick orientation for some of the more advanced features on newer cars.

Good value but slow pickup process
Pros: The best value for picking up in Tulsa and dropping off in OKC that I have found. Car was clean and in good condition.
Cons: The lady behind the first counter was pleasant and fairly quick. She explained that they don't have the Standard class in Tulsa so moved me to Full Size. I completed the rental process, collected my agreement and headed to the lot to pick up the car. Here's where the negative experience comes in. When I arrived at the kiosk outside, there was a man there that just walked up and for some reason they didn't have his rental information. As there was just one person manning the kiosk, I had to wait while the guy in the kiosk called the desk and walked through the entire rental process, relaying info back and forth, walking through the things I had done online and inside. Frustrating late at night when I just wanted to get to the hotel and go to bed. This extra step of going to the kiosk to pick up the keys seems rather unnecessary and very few places still seem to use this two-step process.

Good rental, bad fuel up charge
Pros: The pickup experience and availability of vehicles were excellent despite the very late hour.
Cons: I brought the car back with a full tank of gas and was charged $14 for fuel anyway.
Cons: You don't accept debit cards...unless I have a return airline ticket, which makes no sense if I live locally (which I do) and am renting a car for a short trip.

All great except drop off at St. Louis airport
Pros: Picking the car up was efficient and was quickly on my way. The rate was very good. I believe i was bumped up or else the cars were larger than i expected. In any event the Jeep i rented was clean and very comfortable.
Cons: I was disappointed the airport was the only location i could drop the car. Few if any other Alamo locations in the St. Louis area had after hours drop available. In addition, the signage around the airport directing a driver to the rental car drop location could be much improved. I missed a turn and almost gave up just before i found the Alamo location.

Pros: Not much at all. if I rent through Alamo again it'll be grudgingly. I can spend the extra $10 to rent hertz.

Pros: Would prefer better rear visibility than this model offers. Headrest was uncomfortable.
Pros: Fuel efficient. New model. Comfortable. The staff was extremely courteous and gave me a ride home after drop off.
Cons: We took a long trip and it would have been nice if the passenger seat could have reclined.

Cons: The website did not reflect the Tulsa airport Enterprise office and I called the number for what I thought was the address (on Memorial Drive) which is the street Tulsa airport is on. I guess it's not and the airport office didn't have my reservation.
However, they did give an upgrade though.

Great service, Wish all cars had cruise control st
Pros: We were able to swap out our 1st non-cruise control car (Economy class) for one that had cruise control on it (Compact class, I think). It was a really hassle-free swap once we found a location that had a car available. If you definitely want cruise control, be sure to ask about that ahead of time and check the car when you pick it up.
Cons: First car that we picked up didn't have cruise control, which was not going to be convenient for our long trip.

Cons: Pick up in Tulsa was a challenge because the agent was too involved with playing on his phone. The car stunk like smoke, had broken parts and was the worst car I've ever driven for being new-ish. Ford Fiesta, yuck.

do not do business with ENTERPRISE
Pros: When I did the rental online and picked Tulsa International Airport to pick up from, when I actually landed they said the rental place was actually in downtown Tulsa. (20 mins away) The did not have a courtesy car to take me or pick up. The would not honor the rental at the airport. I will never do business with Enterprise AGAIN.

Not an actual Enterprise rental location!!
Cons: The Enterprise location was actually a Geico insurance claim office connected with a collision repair location. There isn't even any Enterprise signage anywhere for you to know you're in the right location. The rental car agent was one girl in a cluttered office that was either new or just extremely unorganized. The pick-up process took a painfully long time because the agent wasn't proficient with the paperwork or program on the computer. There was nowhere to sit or stand, so I had to stand in the doorway of her office while she typed in my information with her back turned to me. When atrempting to use our company account membership, she had no idea how to access or enter my information so I could get credit, so I ended up just waiving the ability to garner our discount. The car was not even ready or on sight and I had to wait for someone to bring it from another location. Upon returning the vehicle, there was no one there to accept it from me, so I had to resort to just leaving the keys with a gentleman who worked for Geico. This location should not be renting vehicles to the public!
Cons: I waited over three hours after my reserved time for them to provide a car and the car they provided was not a full size. When I contacted customer care they refused to adjust my rate or offer any other compensation.

Cons: Kayak said it would cost $71, ended up being more than $250 and there were a lot of unmentioned fees. Granted I am 23, and I know there are stipulations when you're not over 25, but I did book the Kayak reservation under the page "under 25 rental car" from a google ad.
Secondly, terrible service when checking in, the car didn't even have cruise control for my 9 hour drive and 9 hour drive back. I now have horrible leg cramps. What kind of a car doesn't even have cruise control for $250 for 3 days.....

Cons: It was no deal, I tried the wild card deal, with the hope of getting a nice car - NO. The car that was available was compact, yeah right I am 6' 3" weight 275. I asked if there was any deal for bigger car, and the (very unpleasant lady,) said no. Luckly this wasnt my first time renting a car, I had two other reservations for situations like this. Therefore, enterprise got my business.. Big mistake Thrifty - HUGH.
For anyone thinking about getting a good deal, not knowing what kind of car you are going to get, have a back up plan/reservation! :-)
