Cons: The kiosk in the airport was closed when I was supposed to pick up my rental. The hours posted online for this location were incorrect. This was a complete waste of my time.

Hertz didn't have enough cars
Cons: I made a reservation in Yakima Washington and the company didn't have enough cars to honor the reservation.
Neither did Enterprise. I won't rent from these companies again if I can help it.

Worst experience renting a car ever!!
Cons: My car was stolen and my insurance was paying for my rental and hertz cAllen and said if I didn't bring the vest bask right away they were reporting it stolen!!! Just like that, no warning that it was due, coming up due or even warning me that my insurance was running out on it. They called me almost 2 weeks agent my insurance company stopped paying!!

Cons: The service desk was closed for 2 hours for lunch even though my pick-up time was during that time. They double charged me and impossible to get in touch with anyone for my money back. The phone number makes you listen to 20 minutes of commercials before giving a new number to call. Worst service EVER!!

Odd that you don't except immediate payment
Cons: I have a VISA debit card and I do not have credit cards but to pay for things in real time. My HERTZ rep said that they only take credit cards but he tried my debit after much prompting and it went through. Many people have gone the "Dave Ramsey" way of life since 2008 and so should businesses...

Cons: I had to go there 3 times in a 3 hour period because no one was at the desk. They were very unhelpful and i ended up canceling my reservation and going with another company at the airport. There were 2 others there at the same time, everyone was very disgruntled. One person had to wait 4 hours because they didn't have a car and she had a reservation. I would never do business with this company and I will let everyone I know about my experience.

Pros: I was able to upgrade to an all wheel drive (bad weather) car at the check in desk. The customer service was very helpful.
Cons: When I called the toll free number to see about upgrading to an all wheel drive car, the customer service rep on the phone didn't speak very good English. He told me I couldn't upgrade and I had no other options. My husband called back, and the female customer service rep ALSO didnt speak English very well. It was difficult trying to get our questions answered.
Cons: I was charged $33 for being EXACTLY ONE HOUR LATE with my return. I picked up the car at 4:33PM on Saturday and returned it at 5:33PM on Sunday. Had the guy put it through the computer a few seconds earlier, I don't suppose I would've been charged. I can't believe that they have no way of waiving the charge. I do a lot of business with Avis, and this leaves a sour taste in my mouth!
