The car was available in Bialystok where I needed it to be. The pick-up process was a nightmare: I didn't read closely to realize it was a person driving the car up to the station and waiting in the lot so I was walking all over trying to find the address they listed, which didn't exist as it was supposed to signify the parking lot. Even so, if the guy had been there the full 30 minutes he would have seen me walking by looking confused and holding the rental papers multiple times and I think could have pieced it together. Once we connected the process was quick. The rental agreement contract was entirely in Polish. This is the first time I've picked up a car with less than full tank but that was fine, they just had me take a picture and fill back to that before returning. The car drove fine but there was trash under the seats and the floor mats were generally dirty as was the exterior of the car. It almost was like borrowing a friend's car. They did take down my international driving permit number rather than US license number. At pickup the guy was 15 minutes late but after we signed off on the return he drove me back to where I was staying as a drop off service which was nice. Overall I was unimpressed but I don't think there are many options at budget prices in Bialystok so this did work out. My friends used the same service and had a much worse experience so I'm glad mine was relatively according to plan.

Everything except that they asked me for an International driving permit when i was getting the car. It was not specified when I booked the car. They got me to buy 50$/day insurance because I don't have international driving permit.

They did not give me a car, because they only give cars to EU citizens and it was not mentioned anywhere on kayak or rentalcars during the booking.

The address listed in the confirmation was not the address for the pickup point at the Rzeszow airport. The signage at the drop off point was very poor. I walked around for 20 minutes looking for a place to drop the keys

I had received a car with a faulty engine. The car was brand new but somehow the engine would shut off while I was driving and then turn on 5 seconds later. This was not just a fuel efficiency feature but rather something wrong with the engine. Other than that the car was fine to drive but would recommend get a slight used car as there could be problems with new ones.

Added fines on arrival to airport- €50 for being 20 mins delayed on the plane Agent wanting an additional €120 for the fuel in the car! Manner/ customer service appalling - abrupt and rude

Drop off was a nightmare. But this may have been the airports fault, not sixt. We spent over half an hour looking for where to park the car. There were no signs of where to enter the drop off area until you were already there. We were also not given any information on key return. Drop off was at Gdansk Lech Walesa airport.

The employee was extremely pushy initially to upsell me various extra packages. He even tried to make me sign something with rates with did not agree on. After my 2 day rental I returned the car and a few day after I received a charge on my credit card of more than EUR 250, they were claiming that there was damage to the car, while I am 100% sure that nothing happened to the car in my possession. Staff was not professional and did not do an inspection before or after the rental with me and did not let me sign on any check sheet, as is normally the protocol. I heard of other similar cases. I am taking actions against them

Samir provided an excellent customer service and made my experience pleasant and smooth. He deserves all praise and commendations. I think it’s time for Addcar to invest in a kiosk inside the terminal and provide this amazing experience to the other passenger that only pick up from rentals within the terminal.

It was an absolutely terrible experience. The person I dealt with when picking up was so rude and unprofessional. I was shocked at the additional expenses and how I felt forced into an insurance that seemed like a scam. There were multiple additional expenses that were not explained to me and the woman seemed to think I was foolish for asking for an explanation. I was so nervous about returning the vehicle that I cut my vacation short by an extra day just to get the vehicle back early in case they were difficult again to deal with. So I had to pay $150 for a hotel just to get the vehicle returned early. When I did go to the dropoff, there was another person having the exact same difficult time with staff. It was so wildly upsetting to watch this man struggling with this horrid customer service as well. I will never use this service again and I will attempt to warn others about this experience.

Staff were kind though they didn’t seem to have an information needed to answer questions related to insurance and cost. No shuttle service was available from the airport and no one was Available to answer the phone, other travelers helped us figure out how to get to the pick up location 3km from the airport. The $2000 hold/charge to our bank account was a huge surprise and it took over 2 hours to get the car at pick up due to them being understaffed and having a lot of confused costumers.

The initial car had very worn tires, so they gave us a free upgrade. The pickup of car was a little slow (waited 20 min for them to get to airport and had to deal with car change), but I've had worse with larger on-airport car rentals. Make sure that you have the number to call when getting to the airport so they know you've arrived.

AddCar left us stranded at the airport. We waited for 2 hours until we had to walk out of the airport to search for a car with my 92-year old grandmother. The unresponsive agency ruined our brief visit to Iceland.
