Pros (+) The staff at America's Best Value Inn in John Day was very helpful, including signing me up for a discount and giving directions to eateries and coffee shops. The room had two doors, one facing the courtyard and the other an upper level parking lot. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean.

Cons (-) No breakfast.
