Pros (+) The host was very kind and hosptiable...she had so many chores on her plate, but she handled them all like a champ...I'm convinced she is a superwoman. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing!

Cons (-) There is not much in Otorohanga, but Redwood Lodge is fairly close to the glowworms cave.

Pros (+) Loved the overall place. My partner and I were looking for somewhere to stay near Waitomo a day before we booked our glowworm cave adventure package. There were few places to choose from in the area and even fewer that had great reviews and I only happenstance found the Redwood lodge on kayak. It is a very short distance (10-15min drive) from attractions like the kiwi house and the glow worm caves...
