Hotel was great, as noted by another reviewer, the shower was cold, but we found that the dial was backwards (hot was cold and cold was hot). Great hotel though, comfortable and clean.
Stuff were helpful and friendly
We did not aware of that it is a renovated hospital, bed was broken
Spacious room, safe building, cleaniness!
This is a dormitory in an office building that has some rooms for rent. Old furniture and beds. Very odd vibe about the whole place. NO amenities one would expect at even the most basic hotel. For those on a budget at half the price it might be worth the stay, but otherwise, look elsewhere.
Value staff very friendly
No counter space in the bathroom shower too small
Family friendly and cost effective
Could not partake of alcoholic beverages responsibly.
I had no control of the air temperature and blower in my room. I don't want cold air blowing all night long. The noise of the air blowing and the cold temperature was very uncomfortable. I am not a child and should have control of my room temperature. I should have moved to another Hotel and just paid for an other place. Learned my lesson as not worth trying to save a few bucks.
It's fine for a short stay of convenience, and nothing more. Clean, quiet, safe, reasonably priced, and very odd.
After leaving this quite strange place, we decided to do a little research into its origins. Turns out it is affiliated with the right-wing head case founder of Hobby Lobby, as in the US Supreme Court case. If you don't already know about it, you probably don't care. But if you like us, do care, you might also share our complete disgust at even the slightest possibility that any of your money might go to support this wingnut fanatic and his cause. No more need be said.
Great value, nice staff, clean, they were accommodating and let me check in early. Bed was comfortable. Shower is small but good. It's the second time I've stayed and will be going back. It's nicer then most hotels in the area that are double the price.
Didn't get all the cable stations that were listed.
Security was good
clean and neat. friendly staff. good place to stay if you need a place to lay your head for a night. like the reviews say, it's a converted hospital but with all the security doors you feel safe.
The beds were comfortable .
I was un aware that the rooms were located on a locked unit (just like in nursing homes) it had a gross smell that woke me up in the wee hrs of the morning also the rate was Cheeper than what I paid for on kayak (not impressed!) and it was kinda far from the FLL airport by 20 mins. If you asked me if I'd stay there again I'd have to say no unless there were absolutely no other options.
Very clean and the rates are very good
A little hard to find, but still overall a very reasonable place.
it was the craziest place.. what were u thinking by turning an old hospital into a hotel... people died there.. I was afraid to sleep the place was dirty stained rugs , walls paint chipped and bathroom filthy. to get to room had to go thru emergency doors. then walking thru the nurses station to get the the rooms set up with twin beds mind u with the old set up of hospital rooms.. it was a romantic get away gone so bad. we were fighting.. no coffee in morning no juice . very uncomfortable feeling felt like I was at a place of retreat locked up f
